So i am doing my normal you tubing and one thing leads to another and i find myself watching these videos of a show called 'to catch a predator' (im guessing it being an American show i wont have to fill y'all in). This lead me to thinking about my own life experiances with the subject and a question arose that i am curious about what others think. Do you think there is a moral difference between a pedophile that goes out and fucks kids (sorry for being vulgar but this is a vulgar subject) , one that looks a t CP and one that holds off the urges? I do because thinking about the ped that abused me i decided that they are the worst. Looking at CP is second wost but the one that holds off the urges is almost honourable. If the ped i was in contact with only looked at CP then i wouldn't have had to suffer but some other kid (whos footage it would be) would by knowing that some fucker is enjoying there pain. But finally if this ped had just held off his urges i would have beent mostly fine (well normal shit happens to us all). Anyway you've learned a little about me in this process but i do want to know your thoughts.

you are asking the wrong person. it would really depend on the situation. clearly someone who happens to be attracted to kids but doesn't do anything about it shouldn't be punished.
first, i just need to point out that every american doesn't watch every american show. anyway, yes there is obviously a difference. the person who actually does something is an evil piece of shit and should be put away forever. but it's not like they choose to feel that way, so the person that holds back is perfectly fine. as for the person who looks at porn, i don't think that's really bad either. yeah some bullshit certainly goes down in the child porn industry, but this person isn't committing any of it, and is actually doing something relatively harmless in order to satisfy his urges without harming a child. the people who actually create the child porn are terrible, but blaming the viewer for it is the same as blaming the cokehead for all the deaths related to the drug trade, with the only difference being that the cokehead chose to become a cokehead but the pedophile was just born that way (i'm assuming anyway; i don't claim to know what causes pedophalia)
If I was the leader of a tribe I'd have them killed. They are the result of a dysfunctional society. Things like this happen in overpopulated stressful times/places. Also has to do with some complexes the pedo acquired at birth from other people and parents....and it's a never ending cycle I'd have a pyramid so you can cut their hearts out. And anyone else who wanted to sacrifice themselves just like the Aztecs they knew what was up

So they same punishment for all three types? If that were the truth then isn't society to blame (personally i think every individual is responsible for their own actions)? I suppose one could argue that but if they're looking at CP then they aren't really trying to fix the problem are they? I personally can see that as a way of potentially become a real predator... thats how Ted bundy got started (except with normal porn and raping/ killing women). so i dont think it is harmless. If i were taped i think it would have a greater impact on me then just the act so i am not so sure if the CP peds are that innocent compared to their 'active brothers'.
well ok, i suppose i can't say they're entirely innocent. but then i'm not really trying to fix the problem either. i figure if the CP is there anyway and looking at it helps them to not actually commit the act, then i still wouldn't consider them a major part of the problem (yes, they create the market, but i still consider that a much lower crime than actually doing something to the children themselves). sure some may start out by looking and then move on to acting, but i suspect most of the ones that act were going to anyway, and the porn was just more accessible. similar to pot being called a gateway drug just because people tend to try it first due to its availability. so basically i'm saying that probably most molestors look at CP, but most people that look at CP aren't molestors, and as long as you just look and never do act then you are far less disgusting than those who do both. i really don't know if it would be worse to be taped or touched. either way, the person doing it is the lowest of the low. i just don't feel that the consumer is on the same level as the person making the product.

Well being taped is obviously better if that all it was... but the taping usually goes with the touching anyway so it is worse.
i was wondering about that. as i've never watched child porn i wasn't sure what sort of things normally take place... but of course if they are both happening then that would certainly be worst. and with that in mind i would say that people who watch videos of kids being molested are worse than people who just look at pictures of naked kids. yeah, that is a nice change of pace. unfortunately you're falling asleep and i'm about to go to work, so i'm sure that by the time either of us return this thread will be 8 pages of self-righteous idiots spouting hate speech and calling me a child molestor...
Man as this time goes by i am feeling more and more drugged and it is still pretty clear to me you're not condoning pedophilia so i wouldn't worry what other PC thugs might think.
