anyone else think that making and eating peanut butter and jelly is wicked cool when blazed? if i'm zooted enough, spreading everything on the bread is an amazing experience haha.
i remember making a sandwich, but it wasn't pb&j. just ham and stuff like that, but i put mayo and mustard on the sandwich, too, and it felt like i took my time on it so much. lotsa fun. ^^
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm in the 80s WHEN STUFF TASTED EXCELLENT i loved having PBJ and tomato soup!!!! (Now its hard finding a tomato soup that doesnt taste like fucking crap although i have found some CREAMY TOMATO SOUP that is quite good (AMYS ORGANIC CREAMY TOMATO SOUP)) mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Funny story.Back in the late sixties my Mum was doing some au pair work in London for an American family. The kids asked her for a "peanut butter and jelly sandwich." My Mum didn't have a clue what this was say so she made up some "jelly" what you call "jello' and put it in with the peanut butter. In England we call "jelly" "jam".
I love PB&J, usually peanut butter with a little butter but the jam too every now and then as a treat
not so much into peanut butter anymore...used to love it on saltines...I do love all jams on toast, though.
My grandmother used to set us up to be criminals, thieves,,, She'd tell us to go steal as many crab apples from peep's yards as we could and she make us crab apple jam. She didn't know what she made us go through for that jam but we did it, climbing over fences, up trees, having old me and dogs chasing us out of yards,,, oh man that jam was soooo good!
