Thats too bad. Have you thought of starting one? Thats what I am doing- so I was just looking for advice or somthing.
My school doesn't even have a recycling program... Easiest way of starting anything would be a petition. You could do an online one and put up flyers, easy...
I know how to start a club. I go to the principal and tell her I want to start a club. She will do it- I have connections and she knows it. Thats not the problem. I am wondering what to do AFTER the club is established.
Well, the point I was getting at is you have to find the right people that would be supportive of keeping it going, rather than just enough to get it going and not know where to go from there, then wondering what happened and why. It's easy to start it, it's just that I'd rather prove and show myself that the time was well invested. I'm afraid, as much as I don't want to admit it, the atmosphere of the country, the Americas in their own, has such an on-the-edge historical past and reputation that we're just not suitable to accept a concept like non-violence or anything, as a whole.
Im trying to start an Edinburgh School Students Union, so i know what its like starting unliked orgonisations within schools.
my friend made up one. i'm an alpha cheif(second highest rank), and we call our club the Peace Police we dont do jack, we jsut mess around
We have Politically Active Students Oraganization (PASO) , Free Tibet , Gay/Straight Alliance, and Amnesty International. Most of these clubs are ran by the same teacher he's a hippy he's so cool too. If those count it's real easy just talk to the principal If He or she says no then start a petition be sure to get a teacher to agree with you though.
