so ive be hearing u get really strong. ive alos been hearing you can't feal anything. i was thining abotu smoking it off so i don go crazy but can't feal anythign and am strong. how much shoudl i smoke. i still want to be in control enough to function almost normally.

Yeah, my friend smoked some a while ago with his friend. They were walking down a trail and saw a pretty thick metal pole with a sign on it, and they said 'Hey, I bet we could pull that out of the ground', and while they didn't manage to get it out, they did bend the damn thing in half, which was amazing 'cause that was a damn thick pole.
quite phenomenal potential i recon, a drug that can make you stronger. it plainly shows that theres a key in our minds that one day could be exploited to achieve amazing feats oh human strength
PCP does NOT "make you stronger", at least not in the same sense as anabolic steroids will. What it does is pump you full of adrenaline while numbing pain and preventing rational thought. and the combination of the 3 allows a person to do seemingly superhuman feats, until they come down. When you can't feel pain, you can use your muscles to the point of doing real damage to yourself. It is entirely possible to tear muscles/ligaments, dislocate joints, etc. Pain is the body's "early warning system", and without it, you can get into real trouble. I was just going to say what Ellis said. Well said, Ellis. I hate to sound like a simpleton, but if you want to remain in control Stay Away from PCP. It was developed as an anesthetic, and the purpose of an anesthetic is to make you INSENSIBLE.
Damn, that link was scary, Ellis. I am not the least bit surprised. I went to High School in the 70s and Dust (or PCP) was a big thing. As Sinbad the comedian says "before you take a drug, watch someone ON that drug and ask yourself, "Do I want to look or act like that?" I watched people get high on PCP when I was a kid and told myself (long before Sinbad) "That is NOT the way I want to present myself." Yuck.

It's very different. In a K hole you can't move. On PCP you can. PCP also prevents your brain from preventing you from making STUPID decisions. Ellis put it perfectly. It prevents from making rational thoughts.
Not necessarily, I believe it's mostly due to the kind of people PCP attracts. The two times I smoked it I had no problem acting rationally, though it greatly impaired my motor function. However, PCP isn't for everyone...you're much better off eating some LSD or mushrooms; they're more fun anyway.
They are all classed as "disassociatives." In other words, drugs which make you fell you are not in your body, which cause insensibility (depending on dose) and greatly reduce inhibitions. Ketamine is also a legal anesthetic.
PCP was originally developed in the mid 1950s by Parke-Davis as a surgical anesthetic, and was used for several years under the brand name Sernyl. It saw a lot of use at military field hospitals, because it was a easy to use under field conditions, and had a good safety profile. The big problem with it was "emergence reactions", psychotic episodes which happened as the drug wore off. Typical recreational PCP use involves sub-anesthetic dosages, and the "emergence reaction" is actually much of the desired effect. The drug was withdrawn from human use in 1965, and was remarketed as a veterinary anesthetic under the name Sernylan. Apparently, cats and dogs didn't complain about the strange reactions as much. Sernylan was in use by vets until 1978, when it became a Schedule I controlled substance.

right up at the top of my list of drugs i will never ever willingly or knowingly do again under any circumstances... flushed my pile of pure powder pcp down the drain (fresh in in bulk from detroit city mfg lab) in mid-70s & faretheewell to some seriously bad dope, yuck... ymmv, i dunno...
