Paying in Advance?

Tomorrow will be my first time using and buying weed, The guy asked me to pay him tomorrow when i see him, so he can get it for me by the time school is out, I think he is pretty trust worthy, I've known him for a while (not as a friend, he has just been in my previous classes, just started talking to him recently) And he is in two of my classes, so i see him daily, im sure he wouldnt screw me over. He also offered to smoke with me befour school started tomorrow morning as well, it being my first time, so is that also a sign he wont screw me over? Plus, its only 20$ worth, not a huge amount of money.
So my question, trust him and pay in advance? or dont? Because ive been told by others on this forum to never pay in advance..?

 

i would say that $20 is not too much to stick your neck out, and if he comes through then you probably have a new dealer. ive spent way more than $20 learning lessons too, so thats why i say its not too much.

in general though, its not a good idea to front someone money, or weed for that matter. until you have a good rapport anyway. but ive seen friendships explode... buddy gave his friend the money for weed, friend went and bought his own drugs with it. friendship kapput.

In this case, ehh what the hell, should be fine.

I mean, you probly won't find a BETTER guy till you learn a bit about what's up, and this guy is likely cool and will show you what's up, and maybe someday a better guy too.

If you're dealing with larger amounts, you always need to see green before you pay. There's a few guys I know well that I'll front money, but usually even friends may rip you off.

Break the chain, be one of us who will take your money before hand because he really does need it to get the green, and give you everything you paid for.

Report back with good pictures and we can tell you how good a deal you got.

As a general rule, if you can't afford to lose it, don't front it.

Smoking for the first time before school starts probably isn't going to be the best idea you ever had.

 

Yeah I agree with LoneDeranger. Also it might be a good idea to find a hook up outside of school. This is the kind of thing that will get you expelled quick. Next time just ask the guy to meet you some where else before or after school.

Okay well, today kind of sucked! Me and him were supposed to go smoke befour school started at like 7, but he texted me saying he felt sick and couldnt make it, so i was like yeah okay, no big deal.. a little disappointed, but didnt care to much at the time, then he gets to school a little late, and i see him in my first class, and i give him the money, he said he would give me the stuff after school, but then at lunch he texted me saying he felt sick and was going to go home early, so he would just give me the stuff the next day.. I was again, very disappointed.. But, i dont think he is trying to scam me, yet. He did say he felt sick in the morning, and he did look a bit sick when i saw him today to, so maybe its the truth.. But, if i dont get it tomorrow i will be a little pissed, seeing as how i was supposed to get it by last friday, but he said he didnt have time, then i was supposed to today, but hes sick, soo.. tomorrow he better!

On one hand he's out of your life for 20 bucks... On the other hand, everyone knows if they rip you off, there will be no hard pipe hittin' knickkas showing up at their place.

Okay, I didnt get it again today! I'm starting to get pissed, he said i would for sure today, but then in class he said maybe after school, after school came.. and, i obviously didnt get it.. I texted him saying i needed it by tomorrow, no more excuses, he still hasnt replied.. if he doesnt reply by tonight, im going to have to talk to him in class tomorrow.. the thing is, friday is the last day of school then its spring break, we get 2weeks off! i want my weed/money befour then! If i dont get it by tomorrow, im going to make him give me my money back befour friday..

you got ripped off 20$.. you're learning.. its happened to all of us. this is how you learn, unfortunately.

when you see the kid tell him hes an asshole and be done with it.. anyone can recover from a 20$ hit.. come on, 20$? not a huge deal whatsoever. not worth starting a fight and potentially getting cops involved, or getting in trouble at school.

scratch this one off as a loss and take it in stride.. hope you have better luck next time

 

I'm not giving up yet though.. I wouldn't start a fight, i could probably kick his ass, but he's a lot more "popular" than me, and knows people that would definitely back him up.. me on the other hand, not so much.. But, i'm going to keep trying to get this weed/money for a few more days, who knows.. maybe he'll come threw, if not, ill definitely be telling him off..

 

i would tell him if he cant get you the weed, to return your money. its certainly not worth fighting over, but if he will do neither then you know not to deal with him again.
i wish all lifes lessons came with such a tiny price tag.

 

It's not such a tiny price tag, when i dont have a job, my bank is empty, and that 20$ was the last amount of money i had.. And, i have to pay 100$ a month, because yes.. my parents make me pay for things! So i cant even afford to go and attempt to buy more weed, nor can i afford to buy anything else now, because i some how need to get 100$ by the end of the month.. So basically, i need that money back! or at least some weed..
