I could never say I'd cried when I watched a film. I nearly cried when I watched the Lion King. (I was 8 years old at the time) But I cried at the end of pay it forward. It's a damn good film.
I saw it and I loved it, but I wish the ending was different...it didn't have to be THAT sad.... peace & light
It was om tv the other day I watched it during the commercials to the Shipping News; I wasn't all that impressed by what I saw, but Kevin Spacey's still a great actor. The make-up job that they did on him didn't look all that professional either.
Pay it Forward was a great movie. Also, very inspirational. But it made me very sad, so I would probably never watch it again unless someone else chose to watch it and I was around.
Good film I did like it.. but they had to end it like that really.. it was too loverly for its own good.
got it on dvd its a very pagan theme, sending out postive without a thought for getting anything back S
I was able to pay it forward once; I found a wallet in a shopping cart of a grocery store parking lot, I was able to contact the woman to whom it belonged and return it to her. She was so relieved and amazed that it not only was recovered and that someone found her (she had just moved here from out of state and there was no local contact information for her in it, the way I got ahold of her was through a business card for a local real estate agent that I found in the wallet, I contacted them and they contacted her) but that everything was still in it, cards, cash, everything. She attempted to give me all the cash in it, I refused, then she tried to write me a check, again I refused and told her to keep it in mind and try and do the same for someone else. Later she sent me a letter letting me know that she had run into a couple that was down on their luck, and had used the money she would've given me to give the couple a gift card to the grocery store where I found the wallet. In addition, she had enclosed a gift card for me as well. It was a beautiful thing. I'm not sure if I believe in karma or any of that, but it sure felt real damn good to help someone and know that by helping that someone, that they would then help someone. I can only hope that it continued on from there. True story. \|,,|
