    Hari Om all!

    Please take a few minutes of silent meditation, relaxing the body and quietening the mind before the teaching.

    I am happy to yeild the teacher's podium this week to our guest speaker, a great Vedantic master and my own teacher, Swami Chinmayananda. Here is a video of him explaining the shanti mantra.

    Bhadram Karnebhih shrunuyama devah
    bhadram pashye maakshabhir yajatrah
    sthirair angaih tushtubaam sastanubhih
    vyashema devahitam yadayuh
    swasti na indro vriddhashravaah
    swasti nah poosha vishwavedaah
    swasti nastarkshyo arishtanemih
    swasti no brhaspatir dadhaatu
