Let's have some fun. I'm wondering why Paris Hilton and her series is so popular? I personally don't think she's pretty and she's skinny as a stick. But part from that she: 1. Doesn't have a high school diploma 2. Is extremely vain 3. Doesn't know anything about herself or anything else. 4. Makes racist remarks and talks shit behind people's backs 5. Bad manners 6. Poor taste in men 7. Behaves like a complete ass towards nice people in her show... I wonder why people like her. Opinions?
um i dont have a high school diploma either...and alot of people dont! who cares! but i mean like um, i dont know paris hilton is a celeb, and people like celebs...i suppose! i never payed much attention 2 her though!
because she's rich. simple as that, do you think anyone would even know who she is if her father didn't own all those hotels? I doubt it.
I liked to watch her show just to see what was going to happen. It was funny. She could do absolutely nothing, just sit around all day being rich but instead she parties like crazy, does drugs, and makes a lot of half ass attempts at a career. Like modeling, reality tv, designing, porn. I find her entertaining. I would probably try a little bit of everything, if I were in her position.
Why do people like her? See below: Maybe she's popular because she has gotten rich and famous doing all the stuff we're not supposed to. She may be nasty, but she's a total guilty pleasure (and this is coming from someone who *doesn't* like her either) :X
there's some sort of obsession with rich and famous people...oh and tv and media in general are spoon-feeding the public with "reality shows" that feature "celebs" .... i guess media people know how gullible and easy to please people have become.....thats one of the reasons she's famous imo.
IMO, I think execs have learned that they can turn someone into a cash cow by giving them a reality show...if they have celeb potential. Jessica Simpson was never anywhere near as sucessful as she is now before she had a show. Her sister, who in my humble opinion, cannot sing for shit, got her own reality show and WHAM....3 million records sold or something like that. People here in America have gotten great at buying the "person" the "image" and not the music. Paris Hilton is all the sudden mega famous and what has she accomplished besides acting like a crude, tasteless, shallow, rude person on a reality show (which I have heard is very scripted actually) and what talent does she possess? Well, now she has a record coming out I guess so we will see how well that does. I personally dont give two shits about her, and for the most part I cant stand tv unless it's news, or on animal planet And I find it sad that so many people worship this type of mindless shit. But who am I to judge? Each to their own. I just wish, as a whole, this country would show more interest in proactivity, not just sitting on their asses watching rich pretty people run around on tv.
