Parents don't generally let you get dreads, you just get em... Simple.

I think you'd look good with dreads.

And you know what... if your parents "disown" you or whatever, that just goes to show what lousy parents they are. No one should reject their children based on how they look.

My parents never had any problems at all with me getting dreads, and I beat i have the most nasty dread of you all. Just keep rolling them between your hands, if you do that it wont tangle, at least not that mutch.
    keep it up.

I'm sorry but I think your aunt was out of line in saying that. If you live in your parents home then yes you should go by their rules.

As do I. I think the really old threads need to be blocked from being posted on; I don't really look at the dates on them, but when I do and find out something is two years old, it gets annoying.

DO IT! just go out someday and do it. I mean it's your hair and your the one who's gonna have to live with it. why let anyone hold you back from what YOU want. crazy, i'd never stand for it. Besides..if you didn't like them...hair does grow back.

I don't rekindle them that often.

and besides... if it really bothered u that much you wouldn't bother replying to them. ;)

it does seem a little silly to rekindle something like this which is no longer relevant and is also answered regularly in the dreadlocks forum.

it does seem silly, you're right.

and yet every time we each post here it's still rekindling it, ;) so I'm not entirely to blame! :)
