    I have a problem. I have been smoking for over a year now, and when I smoke I usually get really paranoid and think everyone is against me. I know it sounds stupid, but it happens. I cant just "go with the flow", though I try. I am really sick of this happening, I want to enjoy it. Any suggestions?:(

    i had to stop smoking because of this i think you should take a break, try smoking in a different place with different peopel and different weed, every time i smoked red hairs i use to freak out and thing else i was fine

    i think a survey must be done to all the people who get psychsis from weed to see if it was in the people who got really paranoid when stoned, or if the amount of paranoia you get when smking has no consequence on your probability to exentuate hidden schizophrenic problems.

    dude that makes no sence i had to stop smoking because i had penomia and i couldnt breath and had one of the worst panic attacks ever and i ahvent smoked sence because i still have lung trouble but im starting again once it goes away i dont tihnk being paronid fomr weed and getting mental problems from weed are conected becasue i never got paronid when high for no reason,well for me at lest, actuly i tihnk you might have a point there,but i know its not becasue if a mental disorder from weed

    Just quit toking for a bit, and figure out like what kind of shit you're into and etc.. :D

    Just stop, smoking more will only make it worse. And once you think your ready, then start up toking again:)

    Yeah, I would take a break. One day when the sun is shining and the music is playing and you're feeling great, try sparking one then. It sounds like you might not have enough to distract your attention so your mind wears a groove in the same old place. There is so much more better to think about, so much more better to feel.

    I had a battle with paranoia which invloved me cataloguing all the paranoid things I imagined, then comparing them to reality. It always turned out that reality was firm and constant, paranoia was flighty and rash. If it rears it's ugly head again I already know what the result is, it's nonsense and I can take enough comfort in that to forget about it. Everyone is different so know your body and know your mind.

    If I do think I have a legitimate fear while stoned, I tell myself there's no use thinking about it until I'm straight anyways. Stoned time is my time, it's my escape from the crap of the world and I defend it with tooth and nail.

    man yesterday i had a paranoid trip in the forest. it was really late, very foggy, and nature called. So i was wandering in the forest and kept seeing flashes of men and completely had a panic.... though i got over it once i left the bush.

    It depends, give some more details. First, do you smoke with other people, or alone? Are the people your close friends, or not so much? You get along with them? Are you in a comfortable setting, or not? How are you when you're not stoned? That is, are you a depressive person, or depressed at the moment? How do you feel about life in general?

    Marijuana doesn't create problems usually (unless you smoke 24/7 and burn your brain out), but it can make any pre-existing problems more magnified. Some paranoia is to be expected, at least now and then, but not all the time and really bad. I try to only smoke when I'm in a good mood (for the day and for the general time period, so I don't have a bad high), and if I get paranoid twice in a row, I take a break. Fortunately it's rare for me; maybe because of the above method, and my generally positive view of life.

    Get a Simon and Garfunkel CD. Play that before you smoke weed. It's so relaxing when you're in that state of mind.It helps.

    you dont have to take my advice, but..... try to become comfortable with your self first, then get high. you know.. just be happy in whatever situtation you are in (in life I mean), I know it sounds stupid and hard, but it can be done ;) just relax, if you get uber paraniod on weed.. thats cool I do it too... I think it feels cool to get certain changes like that, its really funny to me(makes me feel uber wierd sometimes--- just laugh at your self, it works haha) I have friends that get jittery too, and its just funny as shit, then I relax quit WORRYING, and just simply enjoy life...thats getting supa high :) *remember this is only a suggestion*

    1) I smoke with other people
    2) They are my closest friends
    3) Yes we get along
    4) Most the time we are in a comfortable setting
    5) When I am not stoned I just do my own thing
    6) Life is alright, nothing to really complain about yet

    Well then I guess you just need to take a break then. Or you have a psychological disorder brought out by weed. Or you just have a problem with weed and can't enjoy it, at least at this point in your life. Either way, a break would probably be in order.
