Does anyone know a good way to cover jeans with paint? Anyone know a good type of paint or a good technique....should i wear them while i paint them?
Oh that sounds fun! I would think fabric paint...but i dont know if you should take my advice, because i never painted jeans before! I dont know..is there any kind of like, say denim paint? Maybe someone else can help?? And whatever you find easiest to paint them, weither they are on or off! When your done, post a pic! I dont really see people with painted jeans around here...i think that would be kinda interesting, and I would try it myself!! So does anyone else know how?
I've never tried this but the idea just came to me and it sounds like it would work: Roll out a tarp and put globs of different colored fabric paint all over in a random assortment on the tarp. Put your pants on then sit, roll on, jump into, move all over the tarp with your legs so the paint sticks to your pants in interesting patterns. Does my description make sense? Seems like it could work.
depends on what you are doing. when I help my wife make custom pants for her online business we use regular old 85 cent acrylic craft paint.
this girl i knew in high school painted her jeans. she just used regular, cheapo acrylic paints. she mixed it with some kind of texturizer though, cuz she wanted it to be glossy. but, yeah, acrylic paint should work.
This sounds like so much fun......maybe me and a bunch of friends can have like a fun paint war....and all have hot jeans to show for it.
