Do you now hang around home in your onesie 'til the afternoon? Crack a beer when the sun is over the yardarm? Watch daytime tv? Tell us how your habits have changed. I had been buying more snacks and drinking more, but now I'm reigning that in as I've put on quite a few lockdown pounds. I've definitely been hanging around longer in my PJ's as well when I'm not at work. Trying to kick back against couch potato syndrome and get out for a few walks. And when it warms up a bit here I'll be out on my mountain bike.
I have taken to running up and down my stairs a few times a day. If you look on the UK forum, you will see why I am avoiding my beach! Good thread, I will add more later.
I seem to spend a lot of my time on HF explaining viruses, pathogenic bacteria and immunity. I sometimes think that I am fighting a loosing battle, since while most governments are doing the right things, they are not correctly explaining the reasons for heir actions. This is probably because they are blindly following the doctors, without asking them WHY.?
Joshua Tree, seems to have described me. I hate this staying home. I hate cold so not getting outside and working in yard and garden, not much to do this time of year anyway. Hope the end is near, and not my end!
habbits are ruts i try to avoid. i do need some new books i haven't read the print off of though. and wish i'd never learned how to turn on the damd tv. and had a reliable unlimited internet access instead. now that its cold enough for meat to not rot right away, i'm eating healthier and more diversely then i will be when the world starts to thaw again.
Since the pandemic struck, I met my lover, who is my joy and motivation, and have taken to working. With work, I eat far less, jog a little bit more; especially on my two days off, and don't have much time for anything else.
Nothing has changed for my household. Same boring routine 5 days a week. We all worked this whole time even during the shut downs.
haven't done a load of laundry in waaaay tooo long, and haven't eaten anything that didn't come from the grocery store and cooked myself. other then that, everything's about the same. another hermit here, so no reason for it to. i don't think i used to watch tv at all. i know i used to get out just to ride the bus and go to a library or a park, even eat someplace else occasionally. basically what i look forward to if it ever ends.
