When did wearing pajama pants out in public become fashionable and even more puzzling acceptable. I'm sorry but I just think it looks like your basically so lazy you can't be bothered to get dressed for the day.

It drives me crazy when people wear pajama pants out in public. Call me shallow, but I think it is important to actually get dressed before you go outside.

For casual wear (not too bold) is ok I think an they can be worn to look just like any other pants. (I guess)

Now some are very hard to tell if pajamas or not.
I mean like to store run (ya got kids) etc ..... but then depends a lot where you live too.

It's the 'flannel' in some an 'loose' waist usually with draw string (not always) that makes them compfy.
I have some I wore in summer (no one could tell they were bought or given as pajamas ;)

There are some folks with tummy an other medical issues wear some.

But I do get what your talking about 'lazy' part with some.

tee hee hee (I'm getting lazy)

It's not shallow at all, it's common decency. Something that a lot of people lack (for the sake of being comfortable, more free or whatever).
What the world needs is a return to decency.
Casual is okay, but you are suppose to sleep in pajama pants, not wear them outside. To me, it's kind of yucky.

I take a middle approach with this.

Men, non-hot women going round in their nightwear, I say :puke:

Hot girls going around town in their nightdresses? :2thumbsup:

I mean, compromise/ taking the middle ground is a virtue - right!

heres an idea....dont look at people and judge them....

you call yourself a retired hippie yet you are judging these people because of their pants

was it ok for squares to judge you in the 60s because you had ripped jeans and patches...or wore a bandana around your knee...or a head band...or tie dyed shit?

tsk tsk...you should maybe concider changing to formerhippie because you seem to have evolved out of that mind set

and pyjama pants arent what is wrong with this world....dont think peoples trouser choice has caused any land mines to blow the legs off any kids

The name RetiredHippie refers to the fact that I've retired from Hippiedom. Now go back to your corner and fuck yourself.

....and this is how you overreact to someone's (harmless and random) opinion.
    Talk about judging....

its an opinion...just like yours...only difference is mine makes sense...just because i like to use extreme examples to make a point doesnt make me wrong....

i tend to make fun of people that get concerned over trivial shit ...like pyjama pants

I don't really ever see someone wearing pajamas except at places like Wal-Mart. I think most people know better than to wear pajamas out to a restaurant or something.

and who really cares what someone wears to, for example, wal mart or a gas station. I personally don't feel like my day starts until I get dressed, I don't even wear pajamas around my house unless I'm about to go to bed. But I don't really care what other people do.

Wearing pajama bottoms violates the dress code of some retail stores in the U.S. I remember hearing something about Costco not allowing it. It's ok to wear a tube top and hot pants in Costco and other retail stores, though. Why? Because pajama bottoms are for sleeping. Thank goodness there are ethical model citizens out there who wear tube tops and hot pants and not pajama bottoms.

I kind of like when they wear them in public because it makes it way easier to judge if strangers are morons or not ..easier to know who to avoid :)

Are you referring to the people who wear pajama bottoms or the ones who get upset about it? Both?
