i was just wondering, a friend made one of my dreads with grafitti spray, and im worried that it could mold. Can that happen?
he did what???????????????????????? what do you mean he "made" it with ..what..spray paint? holy shit..why the hell did u let him spray paint your dread? umm what made ya think hmm this sounds like a good idea? mould would be the least of my cfoncerns..id be far more worried aboiut the toxic carcinogenic chemicals leaching into your brain damn umm geez.. im trying to think of advice.. soaking the dread in turpentine doesnt sound pleasant.. id hate to suggest cutrting it off but damn... spray paint? if its just a lil spot flake it off but if its like ..covered like i made it sound..or if its penetrated..insidfe..umm hell..id hate to see yw get a brain tumor cause ya got an idiot freind.. i guess ive dine stupid shit when i was youngtoo but damn... i think you may have to loose the dread.. and maybe the freind too..lol he spray painted your dread????/ lol im sorry i was in shock..now im laughing..i dont mean to..i appologizre..but damn...really? and you let him????? this is why most dreads dont drink i guess..lol

cant tell what thoise are but its normal spraypaint right? they are full of harmful carcinogenic crap..some are lead based but all are toxic thats why they say on them not to ingale and to wear a mask and use in well ventilated spaces some may leache water solulable crap too.. you may or may not get a tumor..i personaly wouldnt risk it why the hell would you spray paint a dread? were you drunk?
ok i called the 800 number on that site ..the lady had a good laugh when i told her some1 decided to color theyre hait with it.. she was clueless as to what dangerouse chemicals were in it but suggested calling piosion control and reading off the list off the label she said its "probly not imediately life threatening but i have no idea" (not very confident in that) she had no idea what long term effects skin contact could have or how to go about removing it again..what made ya think spraypaint was a good thing to put in your dreads?????????????

not good montana is like hardcore graffiti spray paint its souly made to stain and not to come off (so graffiti cant be removed) it has some really hardcore chemicals if u were to read the can you would freak
lol soaringeagle, your replies made me chuckle. I'd advice visiting a dermatologist, and if matters come to worse, losing one dread might be painful, but not as bad as what might come from having spray paint in your hair.
ive seen ppl do crazy shit back in the day 1 chick glued a fur mohawk to her head another dude took those pyramid spikes off a belt )(so all the lil hook things that hold it in were all bent up) then used a 2x4 to hammer them into his skull.. and another chick used that green manic panic hair dye to dye a great big green blotch across 3/4 of her face so grawfitti spray paint in dreads isnt the stupidest thing ive ever seen but..its in the top 10 i would really love tyo know what influences ya were under... ohh huffing the paint mayybe

i got rid of paintball paint out of my locks with the deep cleaning concoction on here, worked a treat and stripped all the purple hair dye out as well! i dont know what sort of paint they use in paintballs (it cant be that bad cos i ate one for a dare and am still here!) give the deep clean a try, it might work and isnt going to do any harm if it doesnt work x
