pain ignoring techniques

i am in constant pain. I had a zit on the edge of my upper lip that got infected and now my lip is swollen and hard and red and painful as FUCK and nothing is helping much. Meditating helped tremendously, but I don't think it's really plausible to do that for the entire time my lip is infected.
on a scale of 1-10, my pain is like...37?

what do you do when yr in pain?iggy:

Alcoholics go to meetings and admit they have a problem. I'm a drunk and I'm totally OK with it. No problem.

 

not trying to freak you out but that sounds like MRSA..

if i were you id be going to the doctor,like now if there is a clinic or something around you open,emergency room may not be out of the question..
seriously,google it,you just described the onset of a typical MRSA case..

ive had it,dillis had it,hell pretty much everyone i know has had it..

we know one kid who let it go and it literally ate a hole clean through his leg..

with this being on the lip,like i said,id be heading to a doctor ASAP!!!!!!!!

I've already been to the doctor. I got antibiotics...but that doesn't do anything for pain. It better not be MRSA. My thumb got infected just like this about a month ago, only there was no open wound to begin with, it crawled in my cuticle or something.
I dunno, i am just having bad luck with bacteria lately or something.
anyway DON'T JINX ME, I DON'T HAVE MRSA.

I like to think I'm somewhere in between clean and dirty anyway.

 

once you get it if it doesnt clear completely up it sometimes moves elsewhere on your body..

did the doctor do a biopsy?

Okay well now I will carry the idea that I may POSSIBLY have MRSA in my head until this clears up.
I do'nt think it is though. The last one cleared up after a while. Isn't MRSA resistant to antibiotics?
