Pagan veterans can now have a pentacle on their headstone!

    Here is the story. The families of Pagan soldiers killed in the line of duty have been fighting for almost a decade to get the pentacle approved as a symbol for the headstone. The VA finally agreed! As a proud Wiccan and an active-duty military member, I think this is a great step forward.

    Next project - Pagan chaplains!

    I got that on my Celtic Group mailing list today, brought tears to my eyes.

    We will have Druis in the Chaplain service one day. Though why a pagan would join the military is beyond me. I was an atheist when I was in.

    I was a Christian when I enlisted. I get out at the end of this year.

    I was reading a article in Circle Magazine. Other Pagan soilders also recived Pentacles on their head stones. Some were WW2 vets! I thought hat was soo great.
