this is absolute bullshit my friends. on the radar as we speak, people like you and me who stand up and speak on our mind on our troubled land are being treated like shit. vegans, people for peace, people who want to save the enviornment are now on the list as violent terrorists! well i just have a question to that, if were so called "violent terrorist" then why do we provide peaceful demonstrations?? as the people who care most about what is happening, i will vow to keep my voice heard.

Yeah, I guess if you are against a choice the government made, you're also against the U.S. in general. Like terrorists are.

    That is totally ridiculous. LOL

I guess they'll be listening into my phone conversations with my grandma to make sure I'm not planning a demonstration against the US

    The Prez makes no sense.

In SOME NOT ALL ... there are elements that lets say ''Do not have peaceful intent''..

There will be certain indivials latching onto perfectly reasonable and peaceful groups ..for their own agenda...come on guys and gals.. You can't imagine that some groups are not influltrated by persons wishing to hide there intent [No not FBI/CIA agents].

Let me spin this idea another way.. how about they are looking after YOU.. so YOU do not get a bad rep IF anything actually happened and it was 'blamed' on a particular group

Furthermore SOME groups ARE headed under a 'peace' agenda but SOME are not.. what do we do let anybody do anything regardless.. then when something happens we ask ''why no inteligence''..

Damned if you do Damned if you don't..

I CAN see where you guys are comeing from BUT lets not get carried away..

You can tell me to head on out of this thread.. while you indulge in paranoia..if you like *giggle*.

very true, but terrorists?? completely depends on what you class as a terrorist. i see trouble makers using peace groups as a front, but i do not see too many people who use cover to hide their terror activities.

and me persoanally am not paranoid, i do not think peace groups and myself are being targeted by any government, but i am not from the US so i cannot speak for them.

Well they like to use that term alot now to make an extreme point to what likely is a small issue. Yes it has been made out that if your against your goverment than you are against your country even though the goverment is just a group of people that was elected to look after the best interest of the people of the country not what they seem to be actually doing and that is the interest of big business. If you want to stretch the meaning of terrorist and then stretch the actions of a trouble maker then I guess you can call them a terrorist for they may have made somebody scared, thus created terror. But that is like saying and EMT is a God becuase he saved a life.

    An explanation?

    Peace & Love

  12. So true. I remember the pollies going on after 9/11 how the terrorists won't "break our spirits". They didn't have to, our leaders have done it for us.

I see this "terrorist" thing as a repeat of the whole "Communist" scare in the 50's. Same game, insert different name. It's all politics. Create an enemy without a face and then attack groups not liked by the government as that enemy. Look up Senator McCarthy. History repeats itself if society doesn't learn from its mistakes...

Ps How have the terrorists won? I would like an explanation.

    Peace & love

(If we have the freedom to disrespect Bush then the "terrorists" have won.)

The government wants to spy on people. All people. The FBI is full of folks who like to spy on people and find out what they are doing.

"Terrorism" is the latest public face of their efforts to know everything about everyone.

Just remember, if you don't care and laugh at their sillyness, it pisses them off more than any crime would.

Wait until the war on drugs is officialy wrapped into the war on terrorism. Define "drug user" as a "terrorism supporter", "dealer" = "enemy combatant" , add the Patriot Act and finaly America will be safe from freedom.

I thinks its plainly obvious that the US is still reeling from the 9/11 thing.

We were for a while over here in the UK after the july bombings, hence the shooting of an innocent man and a dozen or so stupid laws passed without any debate in the house of commons.

Still it goes on over here with the government trying to push through and ID card scheme. Its plainly obvious that all terrorists will carry an ID card which has their name on it and occupation "Suicide bomber".

The truth is you can either try and negotiate with the terrorists which although both the US and UK won't admit to doing could be a step forward. Look at the Northern Ireland thing. We won't negotiate with terrorists said the UK for God knows how long and then suddenly there is a Good Friday peace agreement.

So we can either speak to these people and see if we can come to an agreement or..... we do it the other way and

    WIPE THEM OFF THE PLANET
