Exactly, they dissed Iron Maiden, but all the other bands were fucking terrible metalcore/nu-metal bands. What a fucking joke.
like ozzfest needs any money anyways... they admit they make their cash on everything else. Hopefully this will drive down the prices for tix of shows I might actually want to see.
While ozfest has had some decent bands.. Pantera, Judas Preist, Slayer, Motorhead, Primus, and naturally Black Sabbath.. They still have way too many metalcore rap/metal bands on the list. This year's probably wouldn't sell much anyway. Although there's rumors that Alice In Chains (with will duvall on vocals) could be playing. I dont think this will be completely free, the tickets have to be obtained online through the sponsor's sites, there's likely to be some kind of catch. Although the thought of free festivals is quite well meant and with any luck a decent band lineup will be formed for one in the future...
