The ozone layer holes above the antartic & north poles letting in the harmful u-v-r's are still there.No one seems to talk about them any more,why not?. It was caused by the C.F.C. gasses escaping from Aerosol Cans & Refridgerators etc.in the 1950s-60s-70s-80s.Thankfully C.F.C.s have been banned worldwide but the depletion in the ozone protective layers haven't abated in any way. Before the current fears over 'global warming' the ozone-layer hole was the major enviromental concern of the 1990s.What is any different today in 2007?. Why has is gone all quiet?.
how true...mean while here in New Zealand everyone is frying from UV radiation from the hole in the ozone layer that everyone forgot about...they were supposed to send rockets up there with ozone in it 15 years ago to fix it...
