Is anyone having problems getting there 5mg 15mg or 30mgs Oxycodones filled..
My PM Doc. was going to change my Norcos but he said its a mess out there trying to get these.
He said a MANAFUCTURE had to stop making them for a few weeks . Don't know why.
But he has been changing scripts for the last few weeks because the pharmacys in my area don't have any..
I know this is true cause my Surgeon gave me 5mg script and had a hard time filling them..

The generic 5,10, ect mg oxycodones are becoming rare because one of the main distributers "freely decided to stop shipping" or some shit. I work in a pharmacy and we got some memo on it a few weeks ago. Apparently, the warehouse stopped shipping because they "wanted to" (I think Perdue is paying them so everyone has to buy brand name oxy which means Purdue will be making a fuck load more money since everyone is FORCED to buy there brand name pills instead of other manufacs, generics). But yea, thats the jist of it.

Yes, I have noticed it. Luckily it is not my sole reliance.

I hope you get what you need, good luck.

    Thanks Does2
Ya I got them but it took a couple pharms. It was like a revolving door at my PM appt. Nurses kept coming in askinng the doc to sign a script for something else..
The last thing I would want is problems filling my script.
Sitting there jonzin and can't find my shit

I'm in NYC and for the past couple months I had problems filling my 30mg Oxycodone scripts. Things seem to be better now but for awhile most manufacturers of 15mg and 30mg Oxycodone weren't shipping to the pharmacies for some reason. I would always get the Qualitest brand (Debossed with a "V" on one side and "4812" on the other side) and back in December they stopped shipping to most places where I got my scripts filled. They kept pushing the shipment date back. The only brand available anywhere seemed to be Ethex -- which I hate. Now, most of the pharmacies I go to seem to order Mallinckrodt.

The streets are so flippin dry around here at the moment.... Last year friends were giving 80mgOC away like candy for free.... now we can't find any... And at this point I would pay 2$ a mg for any of them without hesitation... these fuckin 5/500 vics are killing me so bad. I'm definitely about to order some poppies.

    No, there is no shortage.

The only "shortage" was the fact that Activas pulled quite a few of their meds off the market, but that is only one of the MANY oxycodone manufacturers. If your pharmacy told you that, they are trying to get more money out of you, and lying.

I have no problem getting scripts at any pharmacy I go to.

He said he wasn't talking about Oxycontin.

    Purdue = Oxycontin

Purdue doesn't even make Oxycodone IR, nor do they make Oxycontin 5mg.

So yeah, that isn't the "gist" of it.

He is talking about Oxycodone, most likely Roxi's.

    There is no shortage.

COLOR="Blue"]The whole state of washington is now out of 5mg and 15 and 30mg oxycodones.. My doc had to give me percs today. Fuck, I cant snort percs. My doc told me today, and I called every pharmacy within 50 miles and know one has them..They say the same thing. They didn't make enough and caused a huge shortage.[/COLOR][/I]
