They aren't suprised that you're naked, only that you're walking.

I thought you people all had scooters now.

I don't get why anyone should care either. It's not like you are one of those people who weighs 1000 pounds. Being comfortable with yourself is all that matters. I wouldn't care if I happened to see you nude. And to anyone who does care, they can simply choose to look away, its 100% their problem. Just be happy and free, but watch out for mosquitoes!

weight shouldn't be an issue. i understand that it is a lot of the time, but only because of the media's portrayal of what is good-looking and what isn't. as long as you're comfortable with yourself, no one else's thoughts on the subject should affect you. (in a negative way, anyway)

nudism/naturism is about body acceptance. if you cool with yourself, then that's all that matters. people who have a problem with it are most times shallow, small-minded, most often connected to a big mouth and generally don't have to good of a self image. it's not your size or weight that concerns them, it's more they have a problem with your openess and self confidence. take all criticism from these types of folks as a compliment and an indicator that you're not one of the sheeple.

I'm 6'3, 240 pounds, so not obese, but definitely carrying a gut on me. Nobody ever stares, or has anything to say that's bad. When you go to nude venues, you may be surprised at how many much fatter people you will see. I think that on a regular beach, fat people feel like they're being judged and looked at (and of course, lycra cuts into, and doesn't flatter, larger people). If you decide to go to a nude beach, then you already decide to put aside what society thinks is ok (gotta be slim, tanned, and where a bikini or shorts). The big deal is the getting naked, not the size of the body underneath. Bigger people look way better naked than in swimwear, particularly women.

Yeah, you right! I completely concur. If you are a true nudist, you are comfortable with your body. You don't give 2 shits about some close minded individual's opinion.;)

I'm on a diet and have been thinking about that a lot (not the nudist colony/camp part), but the nakedness. I have had people in personals ads get very hostile if I tell them that I don't pose nude for a camera.

Recently saw a news show about a man who weighed about 1000 pounds. This frightens people. People fear becoming fat. If a person is skinny that can be "cured" with a few chocolate bars. The cure for obesity is not so easy.

As Robert Burns wrote, “Oh wad some power the giftie gie us To see oursel's as others see us!"

    shrooms4all,

Since you claim you won't be offended by what I say.....There's nothing on this earth more disgusting than some big fat fuck walking around without any clothes on - male or female

This last summer when I went swimming at Hampton beach, there was this one women who was so fat, everytime she moved her whole body would shake like Jello - she looked like something out of a B-horror movie

For some reason the movie The Blob immediately comes to mind

    Overweight/Underweight.... Tall/Short.... Hairy/Hairless.... Old/Young... NONE of this stuff matters a wit!

Naturism is about body acceptance, and the idea that we judge one another by their behavior and conduct.

I was raised as a nudist from childhood, and was skinny for many years. As middle age approached I gained weight, but I was still the same Arby inside. Later I lost most of that weight back, yet the content of my character is still the same old Arby.

Stop worrying about how others view you, and strip naked for yourself. Enjoy naturism. When you accept yourself for who you are inside, others will too.
