I was just wondering if anyone has seen this movie?

If so.. tell me what you thought of it..

I have it on DVD, and I actually just got done watching it earlier. I think it's a great movie.. Matt Dillon's first movie role I do believe.

I love this movie and the soundtrack. Did you know it was based on a true story?

Yes I did :) That's what makes it so much more interesting too.
I love the soundtrack as well.

I went to a special screening of it last year, with Tim Hunter (co-writer of Over the Edge) speaking and doing Q&A, he said that the end sequence was editted to the Who's "Baba O'Riley", but when they were about to release it, they didn't have enough money to get the rights to use it, so they used Valerie Carters "Ooh Child", instead. If you watch the end with "Baba O'Riley" playing (if started a the right point, the cuts will match perfectly), it kinda changes the meaning of the ending, given the lyrics of the song.
