Planning on visiting the Outer Banks of NC soon and was just wondering if it is common for people to go barefoot there. Do you frequently see people barefoot in grocery stores, restaurants, etc.? Just wondering if I'll stand out if I go barefoot while in the area?
Unfortunately, no. Most are in flip flops. Outside of stores, restaurants etc. it is common to wear no shoes...
