In France the crisis is complete after the rejection of the European constitution. As most leaders of European countries are pleased with the constitution the people of those countries are not.

In Holland we are supposed to vote at Wednesday although it's a bit silly after the French 'no'. At the moment there's an interesting discussion going on in the Netherlands, but most people don't really know what the whole constitution is about.Personally I'm against.
What do you think of the European constitution? What would you vote?

Its is called a 'constitution' but realy it is a 'treaty' .

I think the french were not realy decieding/thinking of the actual constitution ..merely there anger at other issues.. e.g turkey becoming a member 'those foreigners' taking there jobs (always that old chest nut) and the level of unenployment in france. oh and the so called 'european superstate'

I was originally for the constitution, and I am very pro-Europe and anti-xenophobic. But the more I look into it, the more it seems to be a project to further a neo-liberal agenda of de-regulation for the freedom of capital and the cutting back of worker's rights, not to mention forming another economic bloc at the expense of the Third World. It's sad that xenophobia is ruling the day, and it's with a very heavy hard that I'd have to oppose the constitution....

or Chapter IV Section 1 Article III-158

you will find your quite wrong.
