Poor little kid. I was leaving a super market years ago and as I was approaching the exit door--a kid of about 8 or 9 was approaching the door. The door snapped open and the bottom of the door just skimmed the top of his big toe. It hit his toenail just the wrong way and popped it STRAIGHT UP!! I'll never forget the horrified look on his face!! He turned and ran as fast as he could go and I never saw him again. Beware automatic doors.

    Ouch, is rght.....!
Last year, I was in H&M here, and a little boy was running around. He tripped and fell and smacked his head into one of the metal clothes racks. He was very hurt. I felt badly for days, after seeing that. Poor kid....

Funny how accidents can happen to children but you don't see any signs on the door saying "Parents don't bring your children in here, in the interest of their safety". People can be allowed to take responsibility for their children who have independent minds and developing common sense, but in some American shops, not their own feet.

same thing happened to my big toe when i was a kid...door at the macs milk

i still think about when i go there...its still a convenience store at the same place but the door location has been changed

later on when i was around 7 i jumped into a lake from a dock and a brick sheared off that big flap of meat just below my big toe..im surprised both healed just fine..only the meat slice one left a scar

I stubbed my toe on a door jam last year, and the same thing happened.

I drained the puss and blood a couple days later, then did my own little home surgery all Dr Quinn Medicine Woman, and removed the nail.

I'm kinda shocked it grew back.
