i hurt my finger playing rugby, it hurts when i pull it, and when i push it back. its not broken because i can bend it, how bizarre. and it hurts. a load.
what does it mean to splint it?? yeah, its been strapped up since i played, wont be playing now till wednesday...maybe.
splint it, that means put something solid against it, like a brace, and wrap tape around it to keep it from moving too much out of place. It helps it to heal by making sure it doesn't bend too far out of it's usual position.
yea, i dunno if you actually need a brace - by all means use one if you have it, but a popsicle stick or pen can be used to immobolize the finger and keep it straight to let it heal.
Popsicle sticks and athletic tape is all you need for a solid brace. Don't bother with the store bought ones, they come off to easily and are a waste of money
well then don't pull it or push it back! I am sorry you hurt yourself... I'm sure it'll heal with a little ice, and I do agree with the cheesecake cure, it'll surely help!
well, cheesecake did help thanks, and it feels slightly better today...unless i pul it or push it back, and also forward, haha. thanks guys
Fitzy21 that made me think of my friend - she couldn't get her pinky to pop and tried again really hard and broke it. HAHAHA I laughed at her so hard when she did that.
i've come close to dislocating my left pointing finger before by doing popping it. after that, coach told me to sit out for a week and let it heal haha
