    Other Tips for success to quit smoking….



      • Begin an exercise program. Exercise relieves stress and helps your body circulate the nutrients needed to repair from all the damage caused from smoking.
      • Drink plenty of water or fluids. Water is of great benefit and it will flush the nicotine and other chemicals from your body. Carry a drinking bottle with you and use it to replace cigarettes
      • When have quit for a week buy yourself something special.
      • Remind yourself how wonderful you are and how proud you are in making such a commitment.
      • Start a hobby if you haven’t one already. Puzzles are great. You’ll get involved and forgot about your need to have a cigarette in your mouth. Other great hobbies might be.
      • Most replaces occur within the first 3 months after quitting. Don’t be discouraged if you start smoking again. Remember, most people try several times before they finally succeed.
      • It is only nicotine addicts who crave nicotine. Once you are no longer addicted to nicotine your body no longer craves it.
      • Your body is nicotine- free in only 48 hours after refreshing from smoking. The cravings quickly get weaker and weaker.
      • Most people who are attempting to stop smoking experience one or more withdrawal symptoms.
