    Greetings All,

I am going to make a pound of weed butter this week. I bought an ounce of some bricked mexican weed to do this with because I think it is a shame to cook using the good weed. Hell I only paid about $90 for it. I smoked some and it is not bad, I would almost call it a mid but again almost.

Anyway, I plan on making brownies just because. I like to make Mini Brownie muffins. It makes for ease of eating and well it also makes for easy storage. So what do I do with the other three sticks of butter? What do you guys like to make with weed butter?

I spoke with a friend who lives across the street and she said that she makes carrot cake, but then again she does not make butter she just puts the weed in the cake mix. We also talked about a pound cake. Now I would need the whole pound for that one. What do you like to make?

I am a chef and I currently work in catering sales. I get that you can use the pot butter like regular butter in any recipe. Hell, the only time I use a recipe is when I bake, only because I don't bake that often. I also like the idea of spreading it on toast, that sounds like fun. What I am looking for is ideas outside of the norm or just how you like to use pot butter.

For example. I was reading about someone making pesto sauce with weed. I think it may have even been Joker who mentioned it. I have heard of people making chocolate chip cookies, brownies, cake, etc.

What do you like to make with Pot Butter? Or, we can even expand! What do you like to cook with weed?

    The ultimate stoning:

heat up some grounded weed in olive oil and mix with pasta or any desired entree, bake some weed brownies for desert, and cook up some Bhang to wash it all down =]

then finally enjoy a well packed bowl while discussing how stuffed you are from your delicious meal

idk i felt the need to post that haha :sifone:

Good Example of good weed cooking. I can see the double boiler method with this one. Melt the chocolate, mix in the weed, heat and serve. This would make a good party trick. Now I want to get a chocolate fountain and mix in like a pound of pot butter, (this would be better with vegetable oil) with 4 1/2 pounds of chocolate and add a little extra ground weed for texture and additional stonage. Now dip in Marshmallows, pineapple chunks, fresh strawberries, pretzel rods Apple Wedges and pound cake. Can you imagine a party with that. Wow! Everyone would be tripping balls by the end of the party.

As a catering person I could imagine the party I could host. An all weed party with all foods cooked with weed. I could even make special drinks. I wonder what Hot Chocolate with milk would be like with weed. Ok, now I need to make that also. I love to cook and I need a weed test kitchen.

Firecrackers are always good too but not very original... personally i like to make macaroni and cheese when i have pot butter.. it tastes exactly the same but it gets you baked... I also love the taste of macaroni and cheese so that makes it a logical choice for me

I LOVE the idea of cooking an entire meal with weed. By the time you were done with the meal, you would be DONE. Now please explain to me what this Bhang is, keep in mind that most weed sites are blocked for me while at work.

    Thanks!

Good Man! There is hope for you. I'm going to make some weed pesto myself with a lot of garlic and scampi of shrimp and mix it up with rotini pasta. Yup, that sounds like the bomb. I can't wait to start growing my own. I think I may have to make a weed cooking show. Do like an Alton Brown thing like "Good Eats!", I'll call it "Good Eats with Weed!". I may have to put this up on youtube.

^made with milk though, which is why it works at all

i enjoy some minced garlic mixed with a healthy dose of weed butter (i leave the solids in, though) drizzled over a decent sized slice of bread...something thick. a sub bun or a baguette sliced like a sub bun and cut into proper proportions works fine. add cheese of choice and perhaps a little basil or oregano or something, and toast it in the oven.

you now have yourself some mighty fine garlic bread

  17. Damn this thread is really making my mouth water.

That shrimp scampi idea sounds amazing though...

    Yum

Ok, I will look into this Bhang thing a little more. I love Indian food. I found the Wicki on it and I have a better idea how to make it now. I am all over it. It sounds great. Now this is what I call Weed Tea. Which is basicly what Bhang means. Bhang is Indian based in Sanskrit for Cannabis. So to start this I would need to simmer the weed in milk. So the fat in the milk will absorb the THC. Whole milk is a plus for this, none of that 2% crap for this. Got it, cool. I am so going to make this.

Well, I was just thinking about some other ideas. Weed is related to mint. So, I am now going to take some of my favorite mint recipes and make food with it. Because mint is such a strong herb I can substitute and mix a little mint in to bring out the flavors. Like a Mojito or Mint Julip in the drinks department or Mint sauce for Lamb. Ok, going to make lamb chops with mint sauce now. This is bad. I want to get stoned and I am hungry. I can't win being at work.
