OTC highs.. What else is there?

I have tried dextromethorphan, diphenhydramine, dramamine, dimenhydramine.. Is there anything else? Lol

Kava kava is relaxing (tho i've heard rumors of liver toxicity) - i use it once every few months for aches and pains - i sleep great on those nights.

Eat enough morning glory or hawaiian baby woodrose seeds and you'll likely have a sleepy, nauseaus, psychedelic experience.

Amanita Muscaria mushrooms are very weird. Like being in Alice in Wonderland - macrovision. Also big, odd body load, . . . literally fall sleep/pass out, then wake up in a pool of sweat and drool, tripping . . .

There are a number of cactus species (especially the Tricocerus types) that contain appreciable amounts of Mescaline . . . i humbly counsel you to stay away from Peyote . . . they take 20 years to fully mature and are endangered (last i heard) . . .

i know there are more, . . . i just can't think of them right now . . .

As far as OTC highs go, just don't bother. They all suck and that's why they're still legal. Simply because no on who's done them really has an urge to do them again.

Some are illegal in specific U.S. states (e.g. Salvia Divinorum). But, overall, yes these are legal, in plant form. If you do chemistry to extract/isolate the alkaloids you are stepping into Schedule I territory.

The person who wrote that the legal highs are legal because they suck was basically right. In general you can get much more profound and direct effects from the scheduled materials.

But, the plant teachers are OLD. They have been around a lot longer than us, looking from an evolutionary standpoint. i believe that in a program of consciousness exploration or psychonautica, they are worth sampling.

The one i would counsel the most caution with is Salvia - it is the real deal and very bizarre and people frequently act out their visions. A sober, non-sadistic, adult-minded trip-sitter is essential.


i honestly think the best one worth pursuing is the cactus route - it offers lots of options such as eating lengths of prepared cactus, making a resin and eating that or extracting the Mescaline and taking that. . . .

I would even say start with the plant psychs rather than RC's. Mescaline was the benchmark against which all other psychedelics were compared for almost a century. Then LSD stole the crown.

My friend came out of his salvia experience just as he was about to smash someone in the face because he thought their camera was a weapon and they were a demon.

Which ones are the most insightful or fun. I know what salvia is like but the others, I have never done mescaline, amanita muscaria, I did LSA, but fell asleep before it started....

propylhexedrine is one that you hardly ever hear about. I don't know if you can tell by my sig but I love speed, so i know propylhexedrine is a little like speed i know it works because i've done it, though it probably wouldn't do much to me anymore cuz I do too much real dope. You wanna get the benzedrex inhalers, go to ur local walgreens. Don't get the vicks inhaler it won't work. They're small so you can easily steal them. One is okay, two is better, never done 3. You break open that bitch and there's this cotton thing inside of it so you gotta eat that ho cuz it has the propylhexedrine freebase in it. You can take it and cut it up into a bunch of little peices and take them like pills.

If you don't wanna eat that nasty ass cotton shit you can do an extraction and end up with propylhexedrine crystals. I don't know if you could smoke them like real shards but that would be cool huh.

 

You don't know what salvia is like if you haven't tried it but I get what you were saying. If you have the patience, dedication and can get past the horribly bitter taste San pedro ( or other mescaline cactus) is very insightful and is often fun too.

If you want more dumb highs that are effective nitrous oxide and poppers are legal. Both of those are only like minute long high but they can produce some remarkable effects in combination with other drugs. Like I've used both with mdma and they are both enhanced dramatically in quality/ content and from what I hear nitrous is great on lsd. Poppers go well with sex but specifically more for the woman or I guess receiver for gay guys. since lalakuno already called out your homo I thought I'd add that info for you.

And mescaline, I have never read a trip report or anything.. So I don't know I guess its time to do some reading. Lol and next time I go to wal greens, hope depot, or lowes or something I will look. What all cacti are there? I only know san pedro and peyote.
