I enjoy a subway sandwich sometimes. Is it just me or does anyone else find it uncomfortable to order a sandwich? When I say what I want on my sandwich, I always just feel like I'm bothering the employee...and it doesn't help that I'm shy. I've paid attention to other people ordering and sometimes customers seem quite aggressive and so do the workers. Sometimes the person making the sandwich is nice, but mostly they seem disgruntled, and not blaming them, but I just feel like if I happen to change my mind on what type of bread I want, they're gonna just lose it or something... lol, I guess what I'm trying to say is....subway employees make me uncomfortable and kind of frighten me... I suppose they deal with a lot of annoying customers? I try to be a pleasant customer. Anyone work at subway? I want a sandwich.
I just tend to say: 'I'll have everything apart from those two on the end.' and: 'oh, yes, I will have it hot, thanks'. - that's about it. I know what you mean, though.
do you add avocado? lol, when I say I want to add avocado, the response I usually get is, "UHHH THAT'S A DOLLAR EXTRA!"...seriously the employees have attitude. I'm just like, "yeah, that's fine...." x_x
...minus onions and add olives? geez no wonder they get mad...anybody would with those kind of demands.
I was just referencing the photo. When I'm ordering, they ask what I want, then I tend to just say "all the veggies except onions" then if I'm feeling brave, I will ask for the extra olives.....cuz I love olives
I get the same sandwich every time. Oven roasted chicken on italian herbs and cheese bread footlong with shredded cheese, olives, parmesean cheese, olive oil and vinegar toasted. They don't seem to mind.
I don't add anything extra. I don't even know if they have avocados. I don't get EXACTLY the same. I re-read your post. I pretty much get the same thing. The workers in my local tend to be ok. No attitude. It's the students that want a bit more of this, and a little less of that - oh, and 'can I have a bit of that sauce, and a bit of that sauce - not too much, though'. 'Oh, you haven't got that bread? Why didn't you say that?' That kind of knit-picking that no server wants to hear too often.
yeah, all other sandwich places don't seem to have the employees with attitude, it just seems to be subway... I wonder why that is.
Anyone ever been to Jimmy John's sandwiches?? I would go there when I was living in seattle. Soo good...pretty much the best sandwiches I've ever had and great service too.
Sorry, I'm a bit lost on your statement. Would you prefer no-one ordered a sandwich and the place went bankrupt? Talking of stations. I like German stations. Because they have really nice frankfurters. I mean Germans murdered 10s of millions of people, tried to destroy the whole world. AND force us to wear lederhosen. But they do make nice frankfurters... EDIT- when u said "subway" I thought yoiu meant "railway subway" not Subway the name of the shop. PS I'd feel a prick ordering a "sub" as they call them.. I feel like I'd have to wear a roll neck jumper, be surrounded by Germans in white vests, and make that U-boat submarine noise every 4 seconds, that you see in wartime films. (Yes I know that IS weird).
