so i know some people put orange peels in their shit to make it look more moist (i'm guilty of doing it too), but does it fuck it up or make it moldy? i just bought some mids and it smells a little fruity, and its pretty moist - even the stems are soft and flexy...i'm guessing thats a good indication they used orange peels? i just dont want my friends gettin sick or whatnot
Some bud smells a bit fruity and wet bud = more weight for sales. Orange peels and citrus in general tends to attract mold and decay pretty quick. A glass jar to cure the bud properly is recommended before it does turn moldy.
If you put orange peels in there for an hour it freshens shwag up and doesn't give it mold. The longer you leave the skin in there, the greater your risk of mold. You would smell if it was moldy.
when the stems are that moist, thats more likely bud that hasn't even dried yet. If its that wet, let it sit on a tray in a dark "cool" area, and let it dry. Atleast dry it out. Then get a glass mason jar or something similar and cure it a bit.
i believe all the orange peels do is hydrate it in turn making it slighty more potent iunno thats what i heard my friend left his overnight by accident and it all turned moldy so make sure you only do it for an hour or two depending on the amount
actually orange peels moisten the weed. When i would buy dry weed that just breaks into dust i would put orange peels in for half a day.And it would be perfect afterwards. Alot of ppl i know put orange peels in there weed to make it seem like some firreeee
