I actually just watched this yesterday. Pretty cool little doc. Straight from the plant to the veins within like 30min. Too bad they couldn't harvest year round. They'd be set. It's still cool that they can just go and pick their fix from the field and prepare it themselves though.

Cool video, I can just imagine turning 5-6 addicts who love Morphine/Codeine on to those fields, LOL, it would be like a tornado sat down and cut paths through it. I did hear one of them say that they sometimes save some to sell in the city, cutting it down in strength as not to kill people off, but it makes you wonder just how much Morphine is actually in those pods. I also don't buy into believing that there is no Heroin in the cooked substance. Anyone think the lab said that to play down what the regions crop is actually worth? One last thing, did anyone see the scratches the host made on the poppy and the amount of milk it provided vice dabbing with the piece of cloth on the end. When they mentioned time, I was like, SO, park someone's ass out in the field, surrounded by scratched pods and one nights worth would seem like 10x more than what they were doing. I'm sure my opinion isn't close to what the reality is out there, else they would be doing it. Plus, they seemed happy so it doesn't really matter.
Interesting video, I don't really know opiates that well. Is that one dude puking frequently due to it being really pure? Not pure enough? Or that he's been an addict for awhile? I found it interesting how seemingly easy that it is to cook that stuff.

Thanks for this share - nice to see somebody painting opiates in a more positive light. I don't agree with taking them daily because I think you're playing with fire - the body gets hooked. However, I shall watch this later and see what I think!
Just seen it - that was cool man thanks I think the trick is with opium/morphine is to do it in small amounts very occasionally if you enjoy it, but not to get addicted. Personally I don't think I would ever shoot up any drug - smoking opium seems more than potent enough for most people as long as you don't build up a tolerance.
Ya it really really is. My only question is what happens to any of the codeine content of the opium? Or did I fully miss that part
This is awesome. But, I see problems, they nod off and can't finish something, this could get in the way of a regular work schedule. I love opiates, but using them every day would not allow me to work. It would have to be a once in a while thing.
I agree I am for decriminalization and recreational use. We would have much more quality control and less deaths
