are exhausting to look through somehow. should be fun and exciting, and it is at the time, but the moment i came home i curled up on teh couch and fell asleep for half an hour. i still feel tired, but at least im functional now. well, close to. my wonderful fiance made supper (put frozen pizza in oven, mmm) so now im fed too

but yeah, i looooove looking at all the houses but as soon as im done im -done-. i have a couple i want to check out tomorrow too but thats after a walk in the dog park, which is after brunch. it doesnt help that my mom loooooves looking at houses (even if her and her guy arent really looking to move), and my cousin is also wanting to buy a house (though theyre pickier than i am with housing) so i went with both of them and we were ooh'ing and aah'ing over all the pretty old character homes *drool*

i want a house already! damn having to save up for the down payment and all the associated fees

there are four abandoned houses on my street, one is directly across the street from mine.. I think the street cats took them over...
It's been over a year since anyone has lived in it...

I want to build a cob house, and I shall... Or a small log cabin home...

    good luck!

*squee* so we swung by like 4 more open houses today and i found a house im completely in love with. theyre asking more than i can afford, but maybe theyll accept a lowball offer. its sooooo pretty. the pictures dont really do it justice, but its http://www.realtor.ca/propertyDetails.aspx?propertyId=8105512 ... nice big living room and dining room with hardwood, 3 small bedrooms (im tempted to knock out a wall between two of the bedrooms and make it into one big master), garage in teh back, small but functional kitchen, adn the basement is developed (not as pretty as the upstairs, but there is a floor and walls and ceiling, so its workable). id want to swap out the old storm windows for newer ones (i HATE storm windows, they are such a pain), and the outside needs some painting, and id want to eventually update the bathroom a bit but thats nothing super major. and it has a garage plus another open parking spot in teh back, and its all fenced in with a fence low enough to keep our tiny dog in

*drool* i wants it so bad. and my mom found a house she really wants earlier that day too (also an open house), its http://www.realtor.ca/propertyDetails.aspx?propertyId=8039135 and it probably has the nicest residential kitchen in the whole damn city. it needs some serious work (turn 2 of the bedrooms upstairs into 1 master suite, the addition which is flat topped may need work, some of the walls are busted up inside of closets and the stairs down to the laundry, needs a fence and a garage put in, etc) but its soooooo perty and my mom is totally in love with it
