I got it from somewhere. Its an interesting one to say the least, I want to try my hand at an art piece though. I make trippy music which I had posted last week below but a mod said no links in the sig and took it off unfortunately.

highlight of my life?...... Ummmm..... getting to each plateau leading to where i am in life now and, the births of my children, are the first two that come immediately to mind... meeting up with my childhood sweetheart after 35 years apart... that was a massive highlight!..... i know there are a few more in there somewhere...

I said 'the highlight' as in not plural, choose wisely.

i can't choose... there are other big ones like, seeing ufo's and stuff... i can't choose... :willy_nilly:

all my highlights are heart related, i know that for sure... but to choose one is not possible for me because each of those experiences, and others i haven't mentioned, were intense highlights...

actually... i thought of one! not because it is the best highlight but because i was so uttterly low at the time and the experience was so utterly high... i was a kid and very depressed.... was praying for the angels to come and take me... light began to manifest in the corner of my room and got very bright... three columns and either spheres or rings, i can't remember exactly.... (i'm sure i've written the experience down somewhere... i have boxes and boxes of files that am going through at the moment, because of my impending move... will come across it at some point and will try remember to post it... ) anyway, they (the three lights) moved toward me and then right through me... as they went through, my deep depression left me instantaneously, and for a number of years...

mind you, now i am thinking of watching my childrens faces light up at Xmas... now my grandaughters' face all lit up for whatever reason... sometimes she doesn't even need a reason, she just lights up anyway...

but these are transitory moments... the incident where the lights moved through me, lifting my depression was the most intense movement, from the lowest to very high... yup, it wins hands-down i reckon...

but is that a highlight really?

looking across a valley at an orange and golden yellow sunlit mountain is pretty much a highlight... my nan visiting me after she died... that was amazing! no.... sorry... i can't choose... that's my answer :coffee:

That certainly counts as a highlight in my book and not the route I thought you would have taken pressured to choose one.

I'll send you a link to my music tomorrow, I'm on an iPod touch at the moment and don't have such capabilities. Its kinds corny music and if you don't smoke you probably will not enjoy it, even if you do you may not but its more aimed at that mindstate. I have some more guitar oriented music in the works, unfortunately no computer or working recording equipment to transfer it on to.

would be interested to know which route you thought i would take... :)

looking forward to hearing your music... i do smoke etc yes, but can appreciate music in almost any state... my partner is really into guitar too... well, most strings... he really likes Steve Hillage (now: system 7) and Django Reinhardt... what/who do you think you are influenced by, if any?

I list my influences on the page, but if I continue to make music and use different software my music will sound a bit different. I was kind of limited in the sound and ability to arrange the music with the stuff I've done so far.

But some of my main influences:

Led Zeppelin, pink floyd, jimi Hendrix, the beatles, chemical Brothers, Shpongle, Incubus, Michael Hedges.

Why are you asking me questions? I thought this thread was aimed at asking you questions.

so, yeah... looking forward to hearing what you've got... i know how things can sound very different once produced etc... no worries :)

Miss Loukins, is Mr Bedlam the only one allowed to ask questions, cause I have a few lurking in my head atm....btw Django Reinhardt is the man, he changed the way I thought about acoustic guitar.

yes, i like Django too.... got lots of his tracks... Ashley's been a fan of his for many many years... would be interested to know what you meant when you said he'd changed the way you thought about acoustic guitar... in what respect? i mean, how did you think before hearing Django?
