If you only show your faith around the winter holidays and hide your faith the rest of the year, then what do you really believe? If you sit in church every Sunday but spent the rest of the week at the bar, strip club or beating your family does that make you a believer in faith?

I know I've been going to church more lately, but that started way back at the beginning of school. I actually see more people at my school denouncing faith and religion.
I don't hate them for it, though. It actually gives me something to talk about. :)

I noticed that alot of people are more open about heir faith too, but then again, there's hardly any people in my town who aren't Christian.

    haha :D

Whenever I go out, I do notice this more openness of faith... I find it fucking disgusting, and therefore I write 'fuck god' or 'fuck jesus' on my arms, and the back of my hands.

You should at least have some respect for them. What exactly disgusts you so much about them believing in a higher being? Just because you don't choose to follow those beliefs doesn't mean you should show your ass to them.

    -EDIT-
I just realized the extreme contradiction between my post and my signature.

I find Christianity as being the religion of hate, and if they want to rub their god all over me, then I'll fight back. You call it "lack of respect", I call it "freedom of speech and expression".

I find no religion as a religion of hate. Only people who try to twist meanings for their own benefit who use religion to do it... which is kind of, not the point... of religion, you know... lol.

And my example can be seen anywhere in this age...

I just feel that people should be open to others of other religions and accept the fact that they follow a different belief versus their own. Now, myself, I wouldn't go so far as to write "Fuck God" or "Fuck Jesus" on me. Just out of respect for the views and ideals of some people...

But that doesn't stop me from calling into religious TV shows and telling them I'm a raging homosexual or that I was addicted to porn just to try to see if they'd give back a negative reaction... or what they would possibly say.

But I was only studying the way the pastor thought and felt...

It's main teachings are not hatred at all, dont get me wrong, but for just about everyone today (atleast all I talk to), Christianity means you support war, you hate gays, you hate anyone who isn't a Christian. That's how it is in this town anyway.
For some reason, I feel offended whenever I see someone wearing a shirt that says 'I love god' or 'WWJD'.... how someone can love an invisible man who's always around you and has never been proven to exist is beyond me... and if Jesus was here, he would be helping the poor and homeless, like the sweatshop workers who made those shirts.
