Hey everyone. Just got switched to oxymorphone by my doc. Wondering what experiences you all have had with it.

One thing in particular that I was wondering about is this: the pills I have are Opana ER 5mg - (pink, octagonal, imprint e907/5), and when I tried chewing a couple of them, they seem to be less effective, as opposed to the typical reverse.

does anyone know if these pills are like some of the old oxycontin tabs that had the wafer on the inside containing an opiate antagonist so that if you chewed them it rendered the narcotic component useless? I thought that sort of tab had been discontinued by most manufacturers, but since opana has just recently been put back on the market, and since these pills don't seem to be working as well as I'd expected, I thought I'd ask.

I know oxymorphone is supposed to be roughly 2x as potent as oxycodone, but honestly, I'm not sure about these so far.

    Check on google man...

If you already have, then maybe I'd suggest just grabbing a razor and busting it in half, then scraping out the "wafer".
