one ounce = 10 years

It sucks, yet is kinda funny when you think about it. This 18 year old girl up here got busted for having one ounce with some delivery charge she got tagged on there. She has to pay 10,000$ now or go to prison for 10 years. The reason it sucks is cause I kinda feel like shit over it cause I started her dealing in the summer, the reason it's funny is cause she's the mayors daughter and the threw her mug shot on the news and gave her and had an article in the paper on it. Funny I got caught with 4 o's and got off with a years probation, but I'm pretty sure she had previous charges.
Moral of the story North Dakota = Right Wing Psycho Majority. I think that applies for alot of the midwest though.

thats ridiculous! theres alot of it going on too, i read a book called reefer madness (not related to the propaganda film) that listed a bunch of arrests that had like no basis. america is nuts man.

 

Actually he said he wasn't going to pay a dime of it, he's probably just gonna keep that front up as long as he thinks necessary for people to forget about it, I was in the guys house a couple times while I was on the run and there property must be worth at least 2 million. Phillipines is worse than the US though they kill drug dealers, probably as a result of US influence there though, and them obviously being an impoverished country lower class people would be able to rise from the ruble with there ambition and they wouldn't be able to bust dealers as fast as they kept popping up, not like the place isn't already a sex trade haven.

yesterday my mom was watching Cops on tv and thease stupid fucking pigs were doing a sell and bust op. they reson they said was if you take out a few byers the dealers would move.BULLSHIT!!!! it soon became clear the whole point was money. the first thing they told them after arresting them was that they would have to buy they car back cause they were keeping it. what a bunch of shit!!

 

some times the cops turmp up the penalties for young hot chicks that they want to fuck, to try to intimidate them into makin a deal.

Im going to call bullshit simply because I checked the DEA website and couldnt find any information on their budget. Infact, the only statistics they had on the website were the amount of busts by years. Good job finding some bullshit information and spreading it.

I find it funny that stoners think its so horrible that the DEA cracks down on their asses and puts out false information when stoners do the exact same thing. Im not saying you are lieing or pulled it out of your ass for certain, its just from what I can see.

I do believe though the majority of the budget is spent on marijuana prevention. WE can sum this all up by a quote ive seen used a few times on this forum "Although marijuana doesnt cause you to move to harder drugs everyone who has done them started with marijuana". By preventing the use of marijuana, they are preventing the use of other drugs. Although marijuana was not my first drug used that was illegal to abuse, it most definetly has been the main source of me moving on to other things. Although not a definite, in most areas marijuana is a lot easier to find than harder drugs, and how do you find those drugs, by doing marijuana first and getting connects for that.

Although I do myself believe that drug abuse shouldnt be looked at as a crime problem, but as a public health problem. I do understand exactly why the DEA exists and they dow hat they do. The original intent for most drugs illegalization was either money or racism, yes. In todays world there are many good reasons for drugs to be illegalized though. You have to first understand that most people who do just smoke even marijuana may have a problem, it isnt as addictive as other drugs but it does have addictive properties. Even drugs as simple as marijuana will "steal your soul". Once you become a chronic marijuana smoker, most definetly if you arent growing yourself, what is the main thing on your mind? Getting high. Much like an alcoholic thinks about booze. For most stoners the only thing they really get excited about is weed, and without weed things are not fun. We definetly view alcoholism as a problem, yet we dont view the craving for marijuana and that form of intoxication as a problem? It most definetly is.

From my expierence most stoners ive met arent motivated at all unless they are high. This may be different from you, but for the majority of people it is not. Although I expect all you want to be hippies replies to be "THATS NOT ME" it most likely is and you just havnt come to the realization of it yet.

Marijuana gives a new light to life but also takes a lot of fun out of it which is somthing you have to realize and you cant have both. When you toke, that is what you do. When you dont, you dont.

You want to be hippies claim to be open minded peaceful souled people, yet you are narrow minded assholes who favor the left wing view because you are too lazy to do anything with your life that is gratifying. I too was once in your shoes, and now I realize why things exist and why they operate like they do. The world is a mighty fucked up place, I must agree, yet you cant escape it and only time can change it. Sitting on your ass all day smoking weed isnt going to get you anywhere and you people need to realize that. Marijuana is a godsend to the medical world, and I believe everyone can bennefit from it in one way or another. You "Smoke weed 420 everyday" jackass's are going to regret your choices when you actualy mature enough to realize the world isnt as easy to get by in as you think. Youll be saying "Damn I wish I had listened to the DEA and not fucked up so much, maybe I wouldnt be in community college right now working at mcdonalds." Most of you are young, as I am too, you dont yet realize that this bliss of a care free life is soon to end. You may think youre going to get by being a hippy, but you most likely wont and youll have to change what you do for fun.

Oh yes a 10k fine or 10 years in prison is simply hilarious isnt it? I see where your views come from now, its not Ok if lazy ass joe gets sent to prison for weed, but its ok if the mayors daughter does. Simply because she is the daughter of someone people respect it suddenly becomes ok and even funny that she got in trouble.
