i times myself for one minute while steching random things, i really like this drawing exercise. u should try it and post em. bored thought it might be fun. Lisa
yeah 1 minute exercises are extremely good for building skill, especially in figure drawing and still life. I used to loooove doing that in art class. I reckon I should start doing it again, on my own time. When I do I will post too And by the way, your sketches are beautiful! I really like the first one
Wow Lisa THATS EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!! 1 minute?? -- If I tried to do a painting in 1 minute,IT WOULD BE CRAPOLA (Trying to rush to do it within 60 seconds)
I bet if I really did some shit for real, u know not just messing around a real peice I could sell. Any art can sell even if it sucks. Maybe I'll look into how much it costs to get a street vending license, it would be nice to have I don't think it could hurt u never know I wanna try a big throw someday on an actual wall but so far all I've done are shitty throws cuz I'm way too chicken to stick around for long and really put up a burner...Waayyy to chicken to even think about trying trains they'll lock u up
Ace, I like your new signature and little lined poem underneath, as well. I don't know. I say that alot..... Is that your word graffiti art? and you should pursue your artistry.
The sig is actually photo art I bought and then scanned. I didn't take the picture, but somebody did and sold it, probably not the writer that put it up on the wall either. Has me thinking, if u see a something cool spray painted on a wall and take a picture of it and sell it as art, is it copyright infringement?
Hmmmm...good question. I had a similar question about stories I wrote using some of my doll photos as illustrations....and asked would that be infringing on the doll artist, and was told, that I would probably have to get the doll artist's permission and stuff....
but I am thinking, if your graffiti art is your art in a photograph, I would not think of it as infringement, as the graffiti art has no signature to even know who the artist is. That would be my guess.
Most graffiti is the signature itself tho? Is it legal to sell a picture of it? I mean it isn't legal to tag wall in the first place but it's most definitely art and a lot is really really good.
