yes, he definitely did. however, he didn't advertise his coppola relations to the public, prefering people to love him for his hotness instead of his family.
Did anyone see him as Tiny Elvis? with all honesty, that was his best work. "Hey, man! Look at that knob on that radio! Man, that is hu-u-uge!"
I have always wanted somebody to make a high budget television series that copies the story almost literally, including all of the Chief's hallucinations. I loved the movie though...I quite like everything Milos Forman has done.
book was of course much better but i think it was probably one of the few books-turned-movies where i enjoyed both versions. nicholson played mcmurphy well. i still hate him.
I really like that movie. I actually have it in our DVD collection. I think a remake would be great, quite interesting and definitely worth watching. With the way films are today, it would more than likely be even better than the classic one, even though I truly am a fan of Jack Nicholson. I like Nicholas Cage a lot too though, so I think he would be a pretty good pick for the leading role. Then again, sometimes you just shouldn't mess with a classic.
I actually watched the movie for the first time last night. I liked, but I was wanting more. The main focus of the book wasn't shown I thought. The patients really seemed fucking loony. Ken Kesey tried to show in the book that they weren't crazy, society was just telling them so. And I agree with Face Eater, I would love to see a movie from Big Chiefs perspective, including all the hallucinations and memories of home.
Instead of re-making a good movie, maybe they should re-release the original to in the cinema, that way people can see it on the big screen.I'm not referring to any movie in particular.--And as far as I'm concerned Hollywood has basically forgotten how to make good films.Or maybe they just no longer have many talented people in the show-business.I know this is my opinion but most modern day tv shows and movies are pure rubbish.
