yes. but I've also heard it the term freebasing with other drugs. It sounded like freebasing was just another way of ingestion.
They are pretty much the same. Crack is just slightly crappy freebase because it is made differently. Crack is made using baking soda, freebase is made using ammonia and ether. Freebase is a much higher quality than crack but crack is alot easier and safer to make.
'Crack' is freebase cocaine, is the US anyway, crack refers to meth where I live. Cocaine is a salt (HCl etc). Any drug can be in freebase or salt form. 'Freebasing' is more a cultural term used for smoking drugs, off foil, crack pipes, whatever
Yeah, freebase usually refers to something in a freebase so it's smokable. Usually when someone says freebase they mean crack. At least around here. For like the 5th time. =D
just like Stiney says above that is the real difference but also just like Geneity says 99% of the time when a person says one or the other its the same thing just baking soda and coke cooked up, When you get real base which is cooked up with Ether or ammonia you can taste a after taste of the chemicals when you take a hit. The shit is also more powerful and burns slower then crack. I would rather smoke base any day but its real hard to find because its so dam dangerous to cook up and make you can burn yourself right up. Just look what happend to Richard Prior when he was trying to make base with Ether !!!!! So unless your ass really knows what its doing your better off cooking up crack, But if you can find real base you are better of buying that its better then crack. on a side note even hear in New York city its hard to find real base being sold on the streets. I have only ran into it maybe 10 to 15 times over the years.
