Hello I just wanted all of your opinions about today in general around the world. What do you guys believe is wrong or better with everything? Any input would be nice and any topic about what's going on lately is open for discussion, I just would like to hear from anybody who has been around in this world for a while haha. I mean, many people say the world is better now and many also say that is isn't.
I'm not one of those people who say things are better or worse but people in general have more access to the world through modern communications and air travel.
Watched Starship troopers this weekend, for the first time in a long time, a lot of the CGI not only still stands up, but looks better than a lot of movies today. Also tried to watch Transformers 4, gave up after about 40 mins, the CGI is too muddled and they often put i in slow motion so our brain can handle everything they cram into the one shot. I dont think movies have really improved that much in the last 20 years Music: Rock/Metal has pretty much been in the toilet since late 90s As for World politics, I was a kid in the Reagan era, constantly worrying about getting vaporized by russian nukes way more scarier than having to worry about these idiots running around back water parts of Syria and Iraq no one cares about
I believe the internet and communications in general, will give us the awareness of the world we need if we're to get rid of war and poverty. So in that sense, things are better now than ever. Unfortunately, it will take a while ...
