You know, my father and I took a tour of the historic east coast in 1998. And we stayed at a hotel that was supposedly haunted. In Boston, I think. I was lying in bed that morning, wondering why nothing ever happened. Because you know I was thinking of Maureen Reagan (the daughter of former President Ronald Reagan). She said she woke up in the White House one morning while visiting. And she saw an orange aura around her bed. But you know, that does sound more typical of a waking dream. She also claims to be one of the people who saw Lincoln's ghost. Or actually it was her husband. They were asleep in the Lincoln bedroom and he woke up and saw Lincoln standing outside the bedroom window peering in. Then the figure turned and disappeared. I don't know though. President Harry Truman once said he saw Lincoln's ghost all the time, and even had friendly relation with him. But he later said he was just joking when he told a reporter that. Because his daughter was in the room with them.
