On Christmas?

So, I was walking down some rocks with my step brother to try to find a sack... We saw a few dudes after some searching, two guys that were like 26 and one other guy who was 17, i asked the 17 yr guy if he would sell me a dime, it ended up we would just smoke a fat joint together and id give him 5 bucks. so we did. got about done with the joint, then one of the guys (got a sack from him the day before), flicks the roach at me in the middle of his hit, I didn't know what was happening for a second, wiped the ash off my shirt and someone smeared the roach on the ground.

a man and a woman cop walked up, they told us all to sit down and that we were gonna get searched, asked if we had weed etc.

I didnt say anything, they asked me if i had weed and i said no (truth)

after searching two backpacks the other guys had thery found an 8th or two, so those guys were fucked, they also found lots of small individual baggies. one guy had a bunch of cash on him (the dealer).

after we all got questioned, identified, and searched, they asked me to tell them who "gave us the weed" (and let me tell you,) we had just stopped smoking a fat joint of some purple kush (the cops even knew it was really good weed, they said as much) so i was fucking blazed out of my skull, i was talking to the female cop (total bitch) she would play my friend and i told her i didnt want to pin this guy for her (not those exact words) but i told her I couldn't beleive she would make me pin this guy on christmas.... she told me if I didn't pin him she was going to put some kindof accessory charge or some shit on me for having my 14 year old step brother there. I was too high to talk to her to be honest, i did what i thought i had to do to keep my record clean; i think i gave that cop exactly what she needed to send that dealer guy to jail for a while, what's worse he was on probation.

I sent a guy to jail on christmas, he couldn't even speak english well becasue he's from africa, I hope he was telling the truth about that at least it would help him. the fucked up thing is the 17 yr dude tried to tell the cops we asked them to buy us beer.... total bull shit... so idk...

so basicly i got away just fine and some 26 yr old dude from africa got arrested for dealing, and a homless guy got a ticket for having an 8th... this was all in socal.... they have some DICK cops down here for a state that's supposed to be chill with weed.

She didn't need me, she had him with $300 in cash, an 8th and smoking with minors. I could've been a hero for no reason and have it on my record now.

It's not my fault he's going to jail, it's the distribution charge that's serious and violation of his probation.

 

Na man thats pretty fucked up bro, you went there looking for weed and you end up smokin some purp with some dude for only 5 bucks then you all get caught and you still "snitch" regardless of the situation. Man chances are you wouldnt even been taken to court. You had no weed as far as they know you were just talking. Unless they have hard evidence your pretty much just gonna get a ticket that will dropped especially in cali. Thats not cool man but not me so its all good, at least you didnt get in trouble with your 14 year old step-bro but still.

 

no matter what the circumstances are, if you help the cops in anyway, everyone on this forum will bitch at you, and you should already know that.

 

I feel sympathy for all of you. The cops had to be a bunch of jerks on christmas, and It's hard for me to talk at all when I'm high so I know how you feel. And I never know what the hell's going on either, I don't make great decisions too.

Dont help the cops. thats their job, to investigate. let them do their job. you were in the green. you didnt have anything on you, they had no proof that you had just smoked a joint, you should have just told the cop you were asking the negro for directions, when you realized he had no idea where you had to go, the popo showed up. simple as that.

Go get tested for hepatitis or some shit, homeless people aren't among the most healthy people. Personally I wouldn't smoke with a bum, nor can I imagine one with a 8th of "some purple kush". When I think of a bum with weed I imagine schwag in a 25¢ potato chip bag.

I hate when a homeless person is bumming for money, biggest waste of a dollar. They always have some bullshit story about how they need a coffee and sandwich and are so hungry. Never feel good about that purchase.

i think that is really insensitive , This is Beef. I've been down on my luck and I thank God and the kind people who helped me get back where I am. If you're not going to give them money thats your prerogative, but how can you hate a person for being hungry enough to ask for help with a meal.


btw, homeless people get the best weed.

 

I'm not being insensitive or hateful. Personally 9 times out of 10 ill give a dollar to these beggars, but it doesn't feel right. I feel cheated and slated, not like I gave some charity. The simple fact is you don't know who will use the money for their own good.

If I hadn't been so ripped I would've realized all I had to do was not talk, I didn't do anything wrong except stand there... Dammit.

It's damn hard to deal with the police when you're really high and they will take every advantage of you they can; if you don't have anything illegal with you just be polite and don't say anything more than your name (or basic info like where you live), when they start asking who's weed it was and who gave it to you and shit just look them right in the eyes and REMAIN SILENT.

 

I would feel a sense of personal charity by talking with them, understanding their situation and trying to help even if it was just something as meager and worthless as a dollar. also i believe 90cents out of every dollar you give to the Christian Whatever Fund goes into some Account Manager's pocket.

so you can't know what they'll spend it on. for me, if someone is out busking then they are desperate and in need; i've been there and i know what its like, karma comes back around, i'll give a buck if i have.

So, how would you feel about buying a dude some bread if he was busking and looked hungry? maybe he's been dong drugs for such a long binge he's forgotten to eat, you could save his starving ass.

I had a friend who was in the same situation too a few years back. Similar story. 5 guys got caught smoking and he was put into a situation where it was either 4 guys walk and 1 guy goes to jail (which was the guy who owned the car they were caught in) or all five of them pay a huge ass fine. My friend said to me (exact words) "As much of a fucking dousche bag as he is, I dont even think he deserved to go to jail."
