I just got my job. I'm going to go do some donuts in the school parking lot to celebrate this joyous occasion... then I shall go fishing. Then I shall have enough money to go up to Canada for August.
they're going to call me within the next 6 days (have to do background check), but he said it looked good.. then theres all this testing stuff to make sure i'd be good on the phones and such. .... but just in case, i turned a bunch more apps today. even one to my favorite store (why i didnt think of that before i dont know..).
http://www.mobjackbayseafood.com/ Commercial oyster fisherman/crabber, reseeding, and aquaculture farmer. I'll also be doing things like cleaning and managing the warehouse thing where they keep their water tanks with live crabs and such... It's one of the largest commercial seafood companies on the Chesapeake. They also have alot of migrant workers and mexicans doing oyster shucking and cleaning fish.
Thanks. I cracked my ankle a few months ago so I had to quit my job I had doing HVAC. Glad I found a better job. Better than crawling under houses where it's 140 degrees.
I'm crippled. Fo' life... fo' shizzle. Now I have two bad feet. My other one had five hammertoes, shark bite, billfish stab, and a deformity as it is. I walk with a slight limp.
Nah, I was using crutches. I'm just using one, whenever I need it... ace bandage, etc. Once it fully heals in a month or two, I'll be fine, but I'll just have a weak left ankle and a little worse of a limp. Gets me out of the draft, so I'm not really complaining.
Yeah... I'm extemely happy. And yes, I shall be visiting Ontario unless my aunt feels like seeing me, then I may head out West if she's willing to drive or if my flight is relayed to Minneapolis or somewhere, Fargo/Bismarck out that way.
Fargo is a great town. I visited it when I was in ND. It kinda reminded me of home the way the streets were set up. Cozy and, well, New England-y.
I have the best job ever! i get payed to talk about classic rock, while sweeping the store and listening to the dead on the stereo and scooping ice cream... which is for some reason fun!
