Why do you hippie folck fear a world gov? one GOV, ONE money one everything. isn't that wht yal lwant? it would have potential to bring about world peace. which is what you want no? Asmuch as i love diversity and aprreciate other cultures i realise that no such "world peace" can be realised with out the elimination of diversity. Why do you think hitler wanted to get rid of other ethnic groups? i belive he started the whole jew thing as a scape goat of course just like history tells us but it's a fact that it needed to be done in order for the system to work. dont get me wrong im not a supporter of nazism im just making an observation... diversity creates problems when trying to esatblish a "one" system. The fact is that their is no one perfect system of gov. for everyone. And why is that? DIVERSITY!!!!!! Why will a democratic Iraq not happen? 1: the culture isnt used to it 2: beacuse of the conflicts between the ethnic groups stablity can only be achieved through a strong power. Democracy isnt for everyone. dictatorships arent for eveyone. republics arent for every one. nothing is for every one. every thing depends on individual culture. taking out Saddam was one of the biggest mistakes we ever made. it destablized the region nd created a great threat to the U.S. and World. Saddam was a sunof a bitch mo fo but he was needed. he created a superficial "one" system...elimination of diversity is key to oneness. weather it be ethnic cleansing slective breading or what have you.... this is why i dont belive in the concept of world peace. it's an impossiblity and it would be against the laws of the universe. ying & yang, black white, positive negative, war&peace, you can not have one with out the other. they never act by them selves... no peace then war or war then peace....it all exists at the same time. order out of chaos and chaos out of order.
hrmmm... good point(s). But ask yourself, why does the us thrive more than most other countries? Diversity. A mixture of opinions and ideas. Other nations see this works- prc is/has become more capitalistic (kinda) recently, especially after deng xiao ping's reforms.But thats just economically. I believe that humans willbe able to evolve so that there will be no containment of diversity, of one's self expression. The next stage of human evolution is with our thought processes-there will be no need for war, and peoples minds will be no longer stranded by fear. So, sure, under one ruler there would be no wars like today, but as you said, diversity will reject it...some people won't like the idea. So I do not hope for peace acheived by conformity, but rather by respect..

What is needed is for each person to be allowed to have sovereignty over their own body. Something we do not have if you think about it. and to get away from government and live on our own, dependent on friends and family and most of all ourselves and not some govt.

In my opinion It is against human nature for total peace to occur, unfortunately. But this makes me ask myself: why is is that the hippie community, buddhists and myself want worldwide peace so much, and why is it that the few of us are so capable of living our lives without war and conflict? What makes the rest of the world so different from us? I do believe, that it is the openness of the mind that allows us to live peacefully, respecting our fellows rather than fearing them. I believe the internet is one of the largest steps we have taken for our minds to open, and in doing so, has created new respect. Which is the crucial step needed if we are to live in a world of peace. I really don't believe that the way to create peace is by war (or ethnic cleansing). Peace can only be created by example. The only way I see world peace becoming a reality is if humanity evolves into a new understanding of each other cultures, or, more likely, to evolve into a society where all our previous cultures have meshed together to create one by means of peace, not war.

Who the hell bumped this? I read as if it was my first time coming in thinking it was new, than saw my response. My IQ has dropped twice as much as Rob's than. What I said in August - sovereignty over our own damn bodies stands. We can't even smoke pot, so there is one example to prove that we don't right now and have not had control over our own body. and most of all, no nanny state telling us we can't do this and that.

I don't know if we are going to have much of a choice in the matter. Here in the USA the RFID will be i our drivers license. May 2008 is when the begin to implement the card. The poorer people which is a lot of people these days, or receive some sort of assistance to live most certainly will have no choice. And they will be putting the national medical insurance into affect and that will also require you to have the card or no insurance. This is absolutely the single most scariest thing that has ever happened IMO. The world bank will know every penny we spend and on what soon. If you want to let your hair down and blow some money at the casino, they will have it on record. The cash system will be a thing of the past. And when you don't pay your traffic tickets or child support .. they will simply turn off your card. This is a TOTALLY the seriousness of this reality. And people are too stupid or too trusting to see this. How could they possibly trust the government after 911 or Iraq or 2 fixed elections? I just can not believe in 7 short years how much the USA has been destroyed by these people. They have succeeded in totally destroying our entire foundation and world view. The dollar is barely worth a nickel and we are hated by nations and people all over the world. Tonight I saw the most revealing and honest whole truth about what is really going on and I highly recommend you watch it too. This has been done on purpose, and your not going to like what the truth really is and its far from what most would ever imagine.
