Every year my city holds a car show, in which they are all parked together in a feild for people to look at and then parade around town on a bunch of closed off streets. It's quite the event. There's a lot of pictures so anyone who has a slow speed (Sal ) this page may take awhile to load.
woohoo!!!! beetle love. i really wish i could own one of those. thanks for that. when i was looking at the pics the first time i did wonder why there wasn't at least one beetle.
My dad used to have a Beetle. Even back then when I was a kid, it looked odd when we were putting the shopping away in the front of the car. Around the same time, my dad had a Cadillac. Lemme tell you about getting lifts home from primary school
ah ... Cadillacs. pretty cool cars just not my style. would give you the sterotype 'american caddy' owner but don't want to alter your groovy memories. would love to drive around in something odd however. i had a '98 VW Beetle (not nearly the same as an old skool one) but my ex wrecked it going around a curve at 80mph on near to bald tires. (the new tires arrived the next day).
Fat Texan with exaggerated accent who decides that putting genuine bull horns on the front of his vintage car is the epitome of style. Don't worry, to be honest I don't remember much except sliding around on the leater seats and the "wow" factor of ELECTRIC WINDOWS THAT WIND UP OR DOWN BY THEMSELVES!! You just had to flick a switch and the window would move by itself! Can you believe that? Oh wait.
Ah--nice.They were like sculptures.I never see one like i have at car shows--'67 AMC Marlin.2545 made.
