Older or younger?

Do you tend to date people older than, or younger than yourself? Why do you think that is?

I'll admit, I've always been intimidated by older women. Not sure why.... Probably the obvious reason. They're older and have more life experience. But this time, for some reason, it's different.....

 

Older. I don't think I have ever dated anyone younger now that I think about it..... something about immaturity turns me off really quickly.

 

I've dated alot of both.

 

I'm torn on the issue.

 

l like older women as they interest me more than the youger..

 

Being a guy I generally don't have that problem. I'll admit, a lot of younger girls are still immature, but a lot of them have matured somewhat fast. With guys though, I'm sure it's a bit different.

 

Some girls mature faster then men but if we are talking about a twenty year window then that issue is out the window. Two years though can make a difference.

 

I'll tell you what though, the young broads have been loving me lately.

 

age isnt what gives life experience.... i married and eventually walked away from a guy a lot younger than me in years... but he was older than me because he had so much more life experience.... its hard to explain..geez i hate being naive and i try so hard not to be...

 

Personally, I have noticed that I am attracted to younger men. I could give you an in-depth psycho analyzation as to the reasons why, but I have better things to do this evening.

 

I've noticed I tend to like women almost exactly one month older than me. Dunno why.

Nope, didn't get shitfaced or do anything special... I was gonna go to Biloxi and go gambling and get shitfaced or something, but then... Yeah.

 

usually my age, or a few years older, a like a year or two younger maybe.. once I dated this guy who wasa year younger, and my bf Nick is 8 months younger than me, we were both born in 1985 but I'm from early January and he's from mid-August, so..

 

equal mix of older & younger,
strangest thing though the 1i had the deepest connection to was a few years older, but had the same birthday

I generally prefer guys who are older than me. Not a lot older... more than 26ish tends to be too old for me, in too different of a place for me to relate to very well. I did date a boy one year younger than me for a while, but he was remarkably mature for his age unlike most teenagers

 

I realize that. I've experienced more than my share at only 21, but I was speaking in general terms. I do know what you are saying though.

Agreed. I wasn't considering that kind of age difference when I made my post, but you're right.

 

I've never been with anyone who wasn't at least 6 years older than me, but that's just by chance it's not like I have a requirement. I am now under the impression that age does not define maturity.

 

I tend to date mostly older guys. I've only dated two younger guys, one guy in high school that was like, 2 weeks younger, and the last guy I dated, who was a little over a year younger.

I didn't like having to teach them things...I dunno...not my thing. I prefer dating older.

 

That's a good impression to have. I know plenty of 25-30 yr old men that are going on 12...... and will be for a long time. I can't say much. My best friend Septimus is about 3 years younger than me and far more mature.
