I'm in Oklahoma too. Skip forgot us Okies in the state specific forums! LOL I PM'd him and asked him for it, maybe we'll get one of our own!
Oh yeah and Trystn is from Oklahoma too, near the Tulsa area I think. I haven't seen him around much lately though.
I lived in Norman, attended UCO in Edmond, (and OKCCC) worked for the Norman Transcript (intern), El Reno Tribune and Oklahoman.
My mom was born in Mangum raised in Altus. My father was from Okmulgee. I went to college out by Guymon. I used to live in OKC. Also, I spent a lot of time down around Ardmore (Davis actually) Worked in the oilfield around Elk City. Dang, I'm from all over the state. (hence the moniker)
I'm in Enid, moved here from Belgium about three moths ago. so yeah... i'm a long way away from home :H

Hello from a native Oklahoman! I am living in Tennessee at the moment but I was born in Guymon. Raised mostly in Okie City and lived all over including Tulsa, Hobart, Burns Flat, Altus, Adair, Tonkawa, Mountain View, Thomas. There are some really cool people in Elk City and Tulsa and OKC. In Elk City there is a dude named Danny B. who used to be a lead guitarist for a local band back in the 70's. I was his girl and I was in charge of the pyrotechnics for a show once. He is a biker type and he is way cool. My real Dad was born and died in Guymon. I only met him a couple of times. His name is James Kenneth Davis. He was a big, tall native american dude. Anyways I miss Oklahoma a lot sometimes. I like it here but having trouble finding work. I may head back soon or somewhere near home. My mom still lives in Blackwell. Lots of love and best wishes in finding some cool people. They are there you just gotta find them. They kinda blend into the woodwork of "normal" folk so as to get a job and get a long with less hassle. Just watch for smiling eyes and faces. They may be dressed like regular folk and have no dreadlocks but give them a chance and you will find that there heart is hip. OKC used to have a thriving hip community back in the day. Memorial Park was the hangout then. Sad to say it is not anymore. Don't know where it is at the moment. But I am sure there is one. Love and peace, Cricket
I live in OKC, OK. I don't have very high hopes of meeting anyone from my area in any of these forums, lol. Not very many Oklahomans in the forums that I frequent! If there is anybody, feel free to PM or IM me! Love to meet new people...
I'm in Broken Arrow, a.k.a. SE Tulsa, we are kind of all one big Tulsa blob now - Owasso, Jenks, Bixby, Broken Arrow.... Anyone here a Sooners fan? BY Gawd! BOOMER SOONERS!!!
