Oklahoma Rainbows?

Are there any Oklahoma Rainbows on here? I'd love to get involved with Rainbow functions. But seems like Okie Rainbows are extremely difficult to find, much less functions!

 

LOL. But does anyone actually show up?

 

There are a few Rainbow folks in Arkoma. The Vortex Art Project is there & they have a photo gallery in Hippyland. The Vortex folks don't chat on-line much but their sculptures are really cool.

 

If you go to the unofficial rainbow family welcome home site, then to rainbow folks and scroll all the way to the bottom you'll find Lady Saavedra's site she's in Oklahoma and a very friendly person, who I think would be glad to help you out.

 

you should cruise up to Colorado for Nationals this summer, not to far from OK. =)

 

I'd love to, if I had someone to go with who is someone I trust and someone who's been to one before.

And if I could just FIND the Earth. I swear it's one of those places you can only find when you're not looking for it. LOL for someone that goes to OU you'd think I would know my way around Norman better....

 

I just moved to CO from OK I never could find any thing in OK either but I'm looking forward to the CO gathering if I could figuer out where it will be. u should come we could make room for 1 more

I live here in Oklahoma. My husband and I drove all the way to Enid (several hours drive) to go to the rainbow gathering at Meadowlake Park in Enid. NO ONE WAS THERE! I was shocked! I guess I really shouldn't be considering most of the people here in Oklahoma are really uncool! Mostly shi- kickers. I joined the rainbow gathering group and posted a question asking what's up with Oklahoma rainbow gatherings. No one has yet to respond. If there is no gathering going on in OK, let's do one ourselves. It is going to take more than one person to do this. Is anybody with me?

 

If I weren't so afraid of creepy online people I would be. But yeah, the few times I have checked out events where I thought I might find like minded people, no one was there either. I even went to the duck pond in Norman. There was like 1 or 2 groups (couldn''t tell which it was) but it was small and their body language was very much "don't come up and talk to us!"

Bah.

 

Yeah, I'm kinda leery of online creeps myself. I haven't met any here. Which is cool. But it only takes one weirdo I guess. That sucks about The Duck Pond. It really is too bad about there not being any rainbow gatherings around here- but I have noticed Oklahoma is a bit backwards. Never been to a gathering- worst case senerio I geuss I can go to Texas's. That might be fun. Peace

 

i kno a few ok rainbows, & i believe theres nowa new ok rainbow myspace as well, but i doubt i could find it in my freinds list..

 

u might wannacontact ppl like butterfly bill (muskagee? is that a real town name?) i was thinking about 1 other but pretty sure she just moved
if u can contact at least 3 ppl, & agree to call a councl somewhere to discuss a local gathering, get the word out, & ppl will come..even if you'r 1st gathering draws only 50 ppl, its better then not havin 1 at all,
