Okay to first draw henna tattoo design in pen and then go over it w/ henna?

I'm afraid I will make a mistake on my henna tattoos, and I was wondering if it would be okay to first draw the design on my skin in pen, and then go over it with the henna mixture? Would it have any bad effects on the tattoo?

If you cant do it free hand, it is better to make a stencil for it. I do mine free hand but I've been doing it along time.

 

Just do it free hand, you don't even need a stensil. You just need cotton buds and tissues for any mistakes, as long as you clean up well instantly there won't be a stain.
